I was paying $60 a month for service. Then in December 2012 this service was cancelled. However, they continued to bill me, most recently for $87 but they no longer pick up my garbage. As it stands today I am being billed for services never requested or rendered.

We have been customers for about 4 years after switching from a competitor. Things have generally gone well with occasional hiccups (failure to pick-up trash or recyclables). However last week they did not pickup our recyclables on Saturday (delayed a day due to holiday). We had to take them to a recycling center during the week as our container was full and would not hold an additional 2 weeks of materials. We also got the quarterly bill Saturday. The bill appeared to be in error and did not make sense. They did not properly credit the previous quarter's payment among other things. My spouse called the company Monday , 9/10/12,and the customer service person did not explain why they failed to perform the scheduled pick-up or offer any corrective action. Additionally the person had no interest in explaining the bill we received. My spouse tried to escalate the discussion to a supervisor and was told to leave a message. At no time did Customer Service indicate the company put a hold on our service and account. We did not receive any call backs from the company or supervisor. Friday 9/14 was suppose to be the next pick-up of trash. The company did not provide service. We called again. Customer Service again provided little explanation or suggestions for corrective action. We were informed that a hold has been placed on our account for nonpayment of $30 for yard waste stickers. We did receive the stickers. We did not receive a bill. Previous purchases of the stickers have just been added to the next bill. We had not used any of the purchased stickers until this week when we put out several bags of weeds. We could not reach a supervisor. The company has one of the WORST Customer Service departments we have ever dealt with. There seems to be NO INTEREST in keeping customers who pay regularly and in full. It appears from our records that someone mis-entered data from our quarterly payment made in June. That was to cover service through September. We are baffled by the company's disregard as we have been proactive in trying to understand and correct the issue.
Description of Work: Weekly trash pick-up and biweekly recyclable pick-up. Yard waste removal with prepaid sticker markers. Billing and price are quarterly (once every three months).
