Bradley Construction LLC

This is a work in progress. Both bathrooms were to be done together, but the shower for the master bather was delayed so the contractor has concentrated on finishing the hall bath to give us one working bathroom. The work has been good and the workers have tried to please. The only complaint is the lack of communication. For example, we were going to reuse one faucet, but the workers trashed it because it was too rusted, and did not tell the contractor. I had to rush to get another faucet for the plumber to use at the last minute.

We needed a piece of wood on our porch replaced, new porch columns, and to cover the painted wood fascia and soffit. We chose to hire Bradley Construction because of their reviews. To our surprise, Bradley doesn't actually do any work themselves. They overpriced our job so that they could get their cut and then contract every single aspect of the job out to handyman companies, whose credentials were unknown to us. When Mark, the "contractor", as he made sure to keep calling himself first quoted us, we were only told that the gutters would be subbed out. He told us we could get a discount if we started work before Christmas, we agreed, but work did not start until 1/15 and no discount was given. On the first day, Mark showed up to tell us that he had failed to notice that we would also need new flashing at the corners of our gutters. 6 pieces of 2 ft long sheet metal (not even aluminum) and it would be another $1000. He collected $3000 that day. This whole process was verbal. Never did we see or sign any type of contract or receipt for any of our payments. All we had was an estimate that no one signed and that was changed before work even began. We were told during the estimate that it would be a 4 day job, which turned in two weeks (with two days for inclement weather). Once everything besides the gutters was finished, Mark came to collect a second $3000 and told me that we were all paid up except for the $950 we would pay for the gutters when they came. I asked when they would come and was told 1/31 . This was on 1/25. That day came around and I texted Mark to ask him about the gutters and he told me they were scheduled for Feb 6 which was another 7 days away. This whole time we had numerous rain storms that filled the newly sided wood with water because there were no gutters on the house. Feb 6 came and I again texted Mark to ask if we were still on for the gutters. I received no response for over 48 hours. So I assumed he either forgot about us or just didn't want to do the work for some reason. I called a couple of gutter companies and was able to have someone out the next day for about half the cost and they were done in an hour and a half. (Roofiline Gutters are awesome btw) Amazingly, not 30 minutes after Roofline left, I received a call from Mark to tell me that my gutter guy would be there in the morning, 2/9. When I told him there was no need, he got really angry and said that we had broken our contract. ONLY PROBLEM IS, THERE WAS NO CONTRACT. Mark then called the handyman company who had worked on our house and told them not to assist us any further because we had broken our contract. He then manipulated an itemized bill and sent it to us a week later claiming that we owed him $110. The bill included numbers that we had never discussed. Mark claims that he'd never told us that the gutters were going to be $950. On the bill he said they were $840 and that we owed him $110 and that none of the work would be warrantied unless this amount was paid. He said later he only collected the $3000 at a time because they were nice even numbers. The whole experience was amateur and unprofessional on his part. We were also left with literally hundreds of nails, shards of vinyl and aluminum, rotten wood, mortar, broken bricks and tiles, chipped paint and cigarette butts littered all over our property. We have dogs and small children so we had to purchase a $50 magnetic sweeper to clean up the nails. The vinyl was dirty, some pieces were cut wrong, and a tile was replaced wrong. We agreed to pay the $110 if he fixed the problems. He came on 3/8 to not do work but to collect the money. We have so much more to say about Mark but we're out of room.

I'm very pleased with both the results of this project as well as how smoothly the project was run. From the first point of contact, they were very responsive. They were on-site to complete an estimate within a couple business days from when I called and delivered an estimate later that same week. I talked with the project manager, Rick Burgan, on a Friday afternoon indicating that I'd like to move forward. He had crew members there on Monday morning to begin work. They worked very hard to get everything done at a quality level and ahead of schedule. When small hiccups arose, Rick always ensured they were attended to and we were satisfied. I can't say enough good things about working with them. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them for future needs.

The estimate allows me to better gauge the value of the property, the amount it would probably cost to repair and renovate, and what I should ask as a purchase price "as is" to a prospective buyer. I am satisfied with Bradley Construction's fulfillment of my needs.

I upgraded to an architectural roof and it was done quickly and done well.

Our new bathroom is absolutely gorgeous. Vaughn Mitchell was our project manager and he never left a call or text unanswered. Carlos (in charge of the work crews) and his team were thoughtful with regards to not being messy and went through much effort to ensure our carpets and other traffic areas were not left damaged or messy. Vaughn was clear that it could take more than 4 weeks to complete and it did go over that time frame but this was a complete remodel and some things are outside of their control such as subcontractors, etc. All in all we are very pleased with the work completed by Bradley Construction.

Very hands on and beautiful job on the house!

Great! I've been very happy with their help. The roofers were there to fix the roof in a timely manner and were very efficient. There was still a leak but the company was able to track it to the windows. A second crew (Aaron Baxter and crew) came in to fix the windows and they were awesome. The fixed the windows and did exemplary work above and beyond. I definitely plan on using the company again.

We had to re-paint the entire exterior of our home and needed a contractor we could trust. We selected Bradley Construction as our contractor and we are happy we did. From Rick Burgan to the paint crew, the employees were careful, considerate, and could be trusted. We would definitely use Bradley Construction for our next project.

Although I wasn't able to go through with the project, their professionalism and character spoke volumes. The pricing was a little high for me, but I would definitely work with them in the future.

I had a review on 10/19/2015 where I rated Bradley Construction a "C" on a job replacing a beam under the house among other things. I called Mr. Bradley a few months ago about some issues with the wood floor around the new beam area. Mr. Bradley came out and agreed that there was a slight issue with the beam having a crown pushing up on the wood floor a bit. He connected us to one of his experts, Isaac. Isaac was as professional and friendly as they come. He assessed the situation, kept us updated the entire time, and took his time to do the job correctly. He ended up trying a couple of methods over the course of three visits to fix our wood floor because he wasn't satisfied until it was perfect. Scheduling the visits with Isaac was easy and he was right on time each visit. I am extremely happy with how the floor looks now. I would highly recommend anyone using Bradley Construction to ask for Isaac.

Our basement turned out beautiful. Our project manager Charles Dickson listened to what my husband asked for and had the office he really wanted created. They also turned plain wooden doors into beautiful sliding glass doors which our cats love to look out. A lot of people worked very hard in creating this new office and we thank you all!

It's June 26th and we haven't heard a word. I sent an email two weeks ago asking how he was coming on the quote. As of today haven't received a response. I have written this company off. Have met with another vendor since then and received detailed quote in about a week.

Since my brother, who lives in Anderson, SC, was a member of Angies List, I got on the site and saw Bradley Construction listed first. I called the number, and Terry Bradley answered right away. I told him I needed a miracle for my brother and explained the situation. Terry quickly assembled a team over the weekend, and renovation began the following Tuesday. I worked with Terry's protege, Candice, who was extremely helpful as I was picking out materials for the project completely online, as I live in Pennsylvania. I relied on her eyes to make sure what I was picking out all meshed well for the project. She made some very excellent suggestions. The project was completed in four weeks, just in time for my brother's release from hospital rehab. We are very pleased with the outcome of the project, and it meets all of my brother's needs. Terry and Candice were so supportive of me throughout the entire renovation. I trusted their workers to be in my brother's house completely, as my brother lives alone and I live in PA. Terry Bradley and his team gave me the miracle I was looking for, and I would highly recommend Bradley Construction for any job needed!

I did hire Bradley Construction to complete the project that another provider didn't finish, and then I had them do some other work as well. Fortunately, I was able to collect from that other provider for the part of the job that they didn't finish. I got reimbursed. They're A all the way down the line except for price. The price I would say a B, because they are a little pricey.

It went very well, all of the workers were professional, courteous and cleaned up very well after the work was done. We would definitely hire them again. Mark Crosby was always available to talk to us when we called and he took care of any issues in a timely manner.

We have used Bradley Construction, LLC, Vaughn Mitchell as project manager before, and perhaps the best review is we used them again. Vaughn was able to utilize several crews on the project, each with their own expertise. Jamie and his partner did an excellent job on painting our walls over the wall-paper that was there and the installation of the floor. We have a "popcorn" ceiling and Keith did an excellent job of blending in an area that needed repair which was then painted by Javier.. We had a granite counter-top installed. Javier did an exceptional job on the tiled back-splash. He even suggested a pattern change which really presented the tile we had purchased. As with any project done on a 25+ year old home, there were a few "hic-cups" but Vaughn consistantly checked on the project and made sure the work was performed to our satisfaction. I point this out as anyone who starts a project on an older home should be aware that due to many things like "the settling of the home" things may not go as planned. You never know what lies under the old stuff.As before, Vaughn delivered as promised and when the need arises we will utilize Bradley again..

It went very well! The project manager, Charles, came out and looked at the job and emailed me the price very quickly. The painters came out right after and did a very professional job. We could not have been more pleased. They all were fantastic to work with.

Very professional company. A variance from the city was needed for the project. They not only quoted a fair price, but contacted the city planning department, and assisted with the paperwork, pictures, etc., required by the city. When the variance was granted, they scheduled the work in a timely fashion. They handled a major scheduling issue caused by weather very professionally; the project manager visited the site daily to ensure his crew had what was needed, and to look at what had been accomplished. The deck was finished on schedule, in spite of those weather delays. The work performed was professional, the crew pleasant and accommodating; workmanship could not be better. Cleanup was great. No detail was overlooked. We are extremely pleased with the final product. I highly recommend Bradley Construction, and can't say enough good about their leadership and crew.

I've used Bradley Construction in the past for a small job and was very pleased with their service, so I turned to them again to coordinate repairs to prepare our house for market. The original plan was to have them manage sub-flooring repairs, plus the installation of new carpet and flooring throughout. As I discovered other necessary repairs, and noticed all the interior walls needed fresh paint, one call to my outstanding Project Manager, Mr. Charles Dixon, the quotes were quickly provided and the additional work scheduled to meet my tight timeline. Outstanding service and follow-through in all aspects. There's something to be said for going with a real construction company. I would not hesitate to rely on Bradley Construction again.

This team is doing a phenomenal job. Every team member has been very professional and the work provided has been top notch. Their recommendations and suggestions have been appreciated and we feel that the price was fair. The team also did a thorough job of thinking through all needs for this project and being up-front. We would definitely recommend this company to others and would certainly use them again in the future. They stand behind their work.

Bradley Construction exceeded my expectations with a gorgeous sunroom addition a couple of years ago so when my list of odd jobs around my home began to grow I gave them a call honestly expecting my job to be too small. Mr. Bradley was more than gracious and had my list, including hanging a beautiful new window box completed in no time. As a single female I have piece of mind knowing that no matter how big or small the job, I can rely on Bradley Construction.
