Bradley Construction LLC

On August 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm we met Isaac (leaving off last name as courtesy to him) of Bradford Construction at our home which was being built. We were impressed with his knowledge and desire to find out more about some specialty material we wanted to use. He stated we would receive an estimate by the end of the week which was around August 15, 2014. On August 16, 2014, I called Isaac and he stated he had been busy and would have it to me by Monday which was August 18, 2014. He has both our cell numbers as well as email address-- wonder what the excuse is now. Today is August 29th and we have not heard anything. This is a very unprofessional company and does not deserve a "A" rating on Angie's list.

Vaughn was very helpful through the entire process. He was available for any questions we had and always returned our calls expeditiously.

My experience was very good. Vaughn Mitchell was the project manager and ran the project very well. On the initial walk through, he was very thorough and gave several suggestions. Maintained very good communication with me throughout the project. One of the most imortant things to me is that he alway did what he said he would do.Worked with us on scheduling of work and was very punctual. The house is built on a slab foundation which created some problems but all of the problems were resolved. All of the guys who worked on the project were very professional and did good work.. Very pleased with the work and would recommend Bradley Construction to my friends and neighbors.

The consultation went very well. The project manager arrived on time and listened well to what I wanted done. He then gave me options and advice about what could be done. I was very satisfied with the consultation. The estimate was emailed in a timely manner and covered all of the aspects of the job I needed done. The only reason why I did not use Bradley Construction, LLC is because I could not afford what was estimated.

Kim Bradley was our project manager. we contacted Kim about redoing our bathroom. Kim came over and we told him we wanted all the Sheetrock replaced, the closet to be takin out and new floors put down. Within a couple of days Kim called us with his estimate.we agreed to the numbers he gave us. We bought a corner whirlpool tub,a new vanity,commode,lights and fixtures. The next week they started on the bathroom. We went to a supplier to order out faucets and they thought we just wanted an estimate....so they didn't get ordered. When the construction was close to needing them...we had none....so Kim took action and got out faucets for us. Yeah Kim! It was amazing to see the bathroom coming together. The only other hiccup we had was the door....the supplier sent the wrong door...not once but twice. Kim finally got it straightened out..we are really pleased with the new bathroom Bradley built for us....it is our beautiful spa get away. We love our heated floors. We are planning more remodeling in the future and we will definitely use Bradley Construction again. Thanks to Kim and his awesome team!

Vaughn MItchell was our point of contact for Bradley Construction. He came promptly when requested, and gave us a fair estimate of 2.5 days' labor and materials for the work. Vaughn did much of the work himself. He worked diligently and did a great job of replacing dry rot, sealing the work and painting so it looked fresh again. I trust Bradley Construction for all my home repairs. There are cheaper providers out there but you get what you pay for.

Vaughn Mitchell is a professional and courteous representative of Bradley Construction. He came and inspected a report of dry rot annotated in a home inspection report in preparation to sell. When he dug into it, he uncovered extensive dry rot affecting the structural integrity of a large Palladian window. He showed us where a previous contractor (about whom I filed a derogatory review in 2011) had done a superficial "fix" to cover up extensive dry rot which was present even then. He showed us the old patchwork "band-aid" and explained what they would do differently by replacing the entire window as it was unsalvageable. Vaughn explained to us how the entire frame was rotten and the window had settled 1" and posed a danger were someone to lean against it. He gave us a fair estimate and found a regional window manufacturer who could manufacture a replacement window for about 1/2 the price of the national brands. We had various workers from Bradley Construction at different phases of the job, who removed the old window, installed the replacement, sealed the frame, attached new exterior trim, painted the interior, attached new interior trim and even found a replacement fan shade for the semi-circular window at the top. I watched the progress of the work and was impressed by the quality of their work. The window installer tracked mud in the house so Vaughn rented a steam cleaner and cleaned the carpets for us!

Our job was interrupted by mother nature who decided to send a hail storm with 3" hailstones to visit our home just as the addition was entering the final stage. Bradley worked with us to get that damage repaired at the same time that they were finishing up our original project. They really did a great job all the way around.

The work was done well. There were delays in starting the job (due to unavoidable emergency). Note that for a small job, the price is not hourly so be sure to have a full day's worth of work to make the most of your visit.

Great job! They are patient and desire to do the best job they can. We had a few set-backs that were not their fault and they patiently worked through them. These are down to earth, honest people.

It is a large place but the figure they gave me was too cheap. The person who came out was a bit unprofessional. The way he dressed and he was on the phone talking about his neighbor was going to kill his dog. He was just not professional. I don’t think he knew what I wanted to be done.

Bradley Construction did a very professional job. Communication was excellent. The work was done quickly considering the amount of facia repairs needed. It was very refreshing working with a Contractor that I could trust to do what was promised. The cost may have been a bit higher than others, but quality and peace of mind was worth it.

Previously, I had an uncovered front patio which created a flat, rather bland entrance to my home. To add depth and appeal, I had a vision of installing two columns, and flat roof with railing on top to create a more grand entrance. Walt showed up exactly on time to discuss the project, and easily related to my vision, even adding a few ideas. Additionally, I had severe rotting of the window frame above my front door, and there were several areas around the house where fascia/soffit rot needed to be replaced and gutters rehung. From the first day, Walt managed the project, and was there with his team working on every little detail. Bradley Construction wanted my business, and was very flexible with their bid. They were forthcoming with ideas about where savings could be achieved to fit within my budget. Most importantly, their quality of work is very good.

From our first phone call with Sunny at Bradley Construction, I could tell this was an organized company, who would be proud of the work to be done. Sunny set us up with a project manager, Walt Hoye to come out to our home and assess our needs. When Walt came out, he listened to our thoughts and gave suggestions to fine tune our plans and within a week had sketches of the final room addition as well as a quote. When we decided we were ready to begin the process, Walt and his crew were out the next day starting demolition. It was quick and painless for us and they started framing shortly after. They did find dry rot with some of the beams and quickly resolved the problem. Inspections went smoothly and they continued on. They had to solidify the original homes' foundation (at no fault of Bradley) at the request of the inspector and also raise the heights of doorways (at our request) to give the room a more open feel. We had a special request to use our own electrician, and Walt and his crew were accommodating to our requests. Walt and his crew installed beautiful planked walls and painted the walls with a crisp Charleston White. The planks left a black line below each board when painted (something I did not even notice), but Walt pointed out his dissatisfaction with the look. He went through each board, painstakingly caulking every board to eliminate these lines. The finished walls are perfection. Walt and his crew, covered all furniture and taped off surrounding rooms to ensure dust and construction reside would not harm out furniture and flooring. Every day after completing work, they ensured that the site was left clean and tidy so that we didn't feel like we were living in a construction zone. Bradley Construction works quickly and efficiently, so be sure that you have all decisions made prior to starting the project and be ready to make decisions efficiently! The only time there was delays in construction were due to slow decision making on our end. Walt was in and out with his crew in a little more than two weeks (other smaller companies estimated the job would take five weeks). I have worked with contractors in the past, leading to stressful renovations and promises on our end to never endure another renovation - but now I am excited to plan future renovations, and we will certainly only call Bradley Construction (specifically Walt Hoye and crew) to do the job!

WENT FAIRLY WELL. HAD SOME ISSUE WITH THE CABINETS INSTALLED IN KITCHEN BUT THAT WAS RESOLVED TO MY SATISFACTION.

It is a two car measuring 30ft wide and 24 feet deep. Bradley started on it before Thanksgiving. The weather has been terrible and with all the rain there have been many delays. They were in no way Bradley's fault. To get the foundation done needed two days in a row of no rain. That took some time but was completed with good results. The rain continued off and on through January but the garage has been finished. Bradley was very patient through the whole process and did a great job on the construction. I would not hesitate to use them again on another project.

Appointments were kept and the work was finished on time. Bradley Construction made sure the shrubs around the house weren?t damaged. They worked very clean and performed exactly the work I asked for. During the job, I contacted them once with a concern I had and they immediately took care of it. This was the highest estimate I received but I felt the most comfortable talking to them and would recommend this company at any time. I will use them in the future for upcoming projects.

Our project manager was very punctual and responsive to all of our questions. He went above and beyond to make sure he kept us up to date on his progress as well as answer any questions we had. The final product was exactly as promised.

I feel like overall experience went well. It took about 3 weeks for everything to be done. It would have taken less time but we had some snow and other bad winter weather which slowed down things just a little bit. The work men were professional and courteous and ready to answer and question I had. They seemed to have a lot of knowledge and skilled professional on what jobs they were completing. Bottom line is I am very happy with the job they did and I would recommend them to a friend, family member, or neighbor.

They were very easy to work with. If we had any questions or any complaints, they make sure to come out and take care of it. It was a good experience. I think the price was fair.

I am very satisfied with the quality of the work. The work took several weeks to complete due to the weather and the need to order a new door. During the entire project the manager was very responsive to phone calls and kept us informed about the status of the work.

I had Bradley come to my home to look at the work I needed done. I was told within a few days I would get an estimate and some samples of wood trim. Still have yet to hear back.
