RAVE: Greg Avila with Avila Electric is an amazing electrician!! He just installed a Generac 22kw Generator to our home. Greg took care of scheduling the delivery of the generator to our house, obtaining required permit, scheduling with Duke Energy, and he does all the installation and wiring himself. Here is why the rave: - excellent communication - provides lots of options - reliable - trustworthy - very professional - super friendly and personable - attention to detail - honest and fair pricing - great listener, and provides viable solutions - answered all my questions and concerns Anyone else looking to have a permanent generator, portable generator connection, or any home electrical needs, I highly recommend Avila Electric!! For those wanting to know the process of having a permanent generator installed, please see below: 1. Propane (most difficult part) a. If you do not have propane, you will need to contact a propane company to rent propane tank(s) i. I chose Suburban Propane b. They will need to come out and see where the tank(s) will be placed, propane gas lines to be ran to the generator location c. You will need to contact 811 to mark, and survey the area (no cost) d. Schedule the installation of the propane tank(s). Currently, a lot of propane service companies are Two Weeks or more out for scheduling an appointment 2. Please contact Greg at Avila Electric for installation of our generator.

Perfect. We couldn’t ask for any better.

We were affected by Hurricane Helene and had no power. I was running extensions all throughout my house to my generator and it was an absolute mess. I called Greg seeing if he had availability to hook my generator up to my breaker box and told him my situation and how we had no idea how long this outage would last. Greg wasted no time at all to get over here. He was very professional, punctual, funny, and kind. He had my generator hooked up to my breaker box in less than a hour and it was such a blessing. We ended up going 5-1/2 days with no power and it was so much easier to bear this storm with my 3 young kids thanks to Greg’s work. We will definitely be calling Avila Electric for all of our electrical needs!
