Green World Inc

This was an expensive job, and it took longer than expected because of bad wintry weather, but it was worth it. Tom Shirley and his sons worked hard and did a good job, and the patio has made a huge difference in the livability of our back yard -- nice level surface, attractive pavers, and no more mud in wet weather! Tom is a problem-solver; I would recommend him to anyone who has landscape challenges.

Tom was great. Initially I was looking to just install a single long retaining wall and some french drains in my backyard. After getting estimates from three different landscapers, I decided to go with GreenWorld 1) The pricing was competative and 2) Tom listened best to what I wanted and was best at getting back to me. I think I had some issues with others because they were all trying to up sell me to stone and bolders when all I wanted was segmental concrete block and also when they found out I was a young lady, they kind of just blew me off. Tom was very respectful and would give great suggestions while listening to exactly what I wanted. He did a great job for a very fair price. And it got addicting. Inital estimate for the single large wall and french drains in the back yard was a little under $9000. As they got close to completion I asked for an estimate for retaining walls and a driveway in the front yard thinking maybe it would be something to think of doing the next year. Price was good enough I decided to go for it then. Next I then added on sod and mulch. And decided to have that done then too. The work Tom and the GreenWorld guys did was awesome. The price was fair enough that it prompted me to do a whole lot more than I originally planned to and a year later I am still glad I went for it. A year later now and I believe the french drains GreenWorld installed for us saved us a lot of damage - the area we live in got a TON of rain this year. Previously that area of the yard (close to the house and garage) would have a few inches on standing water after a standard rain. This year the area had enough rain some people even had issues with flooding. While we did have a lot of wash out (it is the bottom of a hill), there was NO standing water. I think it saved us from flooding that area which is right up against the house and garage. In the future I plan to have more work done after to deck upgrade and I will DEFINITLEY be calling GreenWorld.

Tom and crew did a great job. It started with me just wanting one retaining wall in the back and then I kept adding more as the pricing was competative and the work was inspiring! Tom was patient and would quickly and gladly provide me a quote when I asked time and again to add and quot;just one more thingand quot;. I had quotes from others and they were not as competative and kept pushing me to install decorative bolders and stones rather than the economical prefabed bricks I wanted and would write me off quickly (I'm a fairly young lady so I think they were not taking me as a serious job). Tom was vey professional and always got back to me quickly. He made me feel like a valued customer. He listened and incorporated all my ideas and provided good insight, recommendations and ideas when presented with situations of and quot;I don't know what I want here, but I hate it nowand quot;. So many thanks to Tom and crew. I even was getting compliments from neighbors walking by when I was clearing leaves in the fall. I highly recommed Green World Inc and will definitely be using them for all future jobs I have.

He did a great job for me. He interpreted what I wanted and gave it to me at a price I could afford. He did an excellent job on the lower retaining wall, which was about 60 feet long. I thought he did a really good job of doing exactly what I expected him to do.
