Replacement of garage door spring

Excellent work and very professional. Mike fixed the problem and then performed an inspection of the garage door track, performing any maintenance that was needed. While he was inspecting the track, springs, and wires he made sure and pointed out what annual maintenance I should be doing to ensure everything ran smoothly for years to come. Highly recommended.

By a recommendation of a neighbor I was given this contact. I have used them now on two accounts. Mike is wonderful, responsive, fairly priced. First visit he replaced a door opener, a year later my spring failed. It was so nice to have a reputable repairman to call. I would highly recommend Ponderosa Partners....and they do all kinds of work and repairs not just garage doors.

They specialize in garage doors but they also do other type of handyman work, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and pressure washing. I have had them do work for me a couple of times. It's basically one individual and he does a great job. He is reasonably priced. He is very handy and he can under cut a lot of these bigger companies that are in this business too. I would highly recommend him. Mike Mayer solely runs it. He used to be a glass door installer for another company; he did that work for several years and then kind of struck out on his own. He really does a nice job. He is a nice fellow. He is conscientious. I had him out here a couple of times to replace the garage door spring, do some other work out of the house and insulate the garage door. $80 pretty much covers what he has to do, then plus whatever the material is. When you call him he picks up the phone, he makes the appointment and he is here. He brings all the material. He is very punctual. He is interested in doing a good job, no cutting any corners. He is the kind of person that maybe an older person or a widow who cannot do a lot of things could use. He does a lot of things including handyman, electrical. plumbing, carpentry, grading, concrete, bush hogging and pressure washing. I think his brother is in a related business and has some of that equipment he can use. In terms of price, compared to the standard when I go overhead door people like that he is considerably cheaper and as far as I am concerned, it is the same quality work. He will go to them, buy the parts, and then install them. He pays attention to detail and does a nice job. In terms of responsiveness, our garage door spring was broken, I called him the first thing in the morning and he was there in about three hours and had the garage door working. In terms of professionalism, as far as I'm concerned he is an A; he is down to earth and is easy to work with. He is certainly professional and knows what he is doing so he does it. I would definitely use his services again in the future.
