We decided to replace our original 14 year old heat pumps, as they were drawing high amperage and requiring frequent servicing. We decided to use Rite Temp, the company who had been servicing our units for the last 10 years or so. Their quote was not the cheapest, but was competitive. Over the years, I have developed a high comfort level with them because of Rite Temp's service level and overall fairness. The quote was put together by Paul Crawford, their Residential Manager. We reviewed good, better, best options along with some bells and whistles, as we fine tuned our choices. We considered cost effectiveness, efficiency, and reliability issues. Paul was very responsive with my numerous phone calls and spent sufficient time in my home, reviewing our systems. He did not push me to go overboard on my choices. Our primary service guy, Will, convinced us to consider replacing our units. Will is knowledgeable and has taken great care of us. We respect his opinions and advice, as he has earned our trust. The installation went great, and here's why. It's their people! The two installation guys -- Travis Buckner and Jason Frye -- were each very knowledgeable, thorough, and neat. After they completed the two day job, spending time outside, in the house, and in the attic -- you could not even tell they were there! They put plastic down on the floor, wore booties over their shoes, and cleaned up everything. The attic area was actually cleaner than prior to the job. Travis had to remove a large bush in order to install the 5 ton package unit. He replaced the bush when he was done. Everything is running great! Both Travis and Jason were very easy to communicate with. They really wanted to please us -- and they did. They have phenomenal attitudes. I think that is what makes them stand out so much. You don't see that enough nowadays. Rite Temp has been in business since the late 1980's and they really have nurtured a family atmosphere amongst their employees. No bad mouthing -- nothing even close to that. They are all team players and EXTREMELY customer-focused.. I usually don't write such lengthy endorsements, but this company deserves it. The owner, Travis Henzler, came by to check on things -- which I liked. The culture of this company can be described with the words: fairness, low-key, no pressure, honesty, and thoroughness.

Excellent service.

My experience with Rite Temp was outstanding. Every employee was prompt, professional and courteous. The installation went well. When it was time for the inspection, they found that the Air Purifier and ultraviolet light were not working correctly. Without hesitation, they replaced both immediately. I would definitely recommend Rite Temp to anyone needing heating and air services. The customer service is outstanding. They have won me over and I will most certainly use them again.

I would recommend RiteTemp to anyone needing HVAC services without hesitation. They replaced our air handler for the upstairs unit in 2009 and were by far the best priced. They were also professional and always treated us with respect and offered loads of tips during their maintenance visits.If you are looking for someone who will give it to you straight, doesn't recommend replacing things that don't need replacement, does a great job and all for probably the best price in town, call RiteTemp!

I was impressed with this company from the moment I contacted them. I was looking for a new contractor to perform seasonal preventative maintenance on my residential HVAC systems and purchase an annual service contract. I spoke to a gentleman named "Paul". He was courteous and responsive and answered all my questions. I also needed to have some "dampers" installed in my supply lines to equal the air flow in my ductwork. Paul understood my needs and was very responsive. Upon scheduling a service appointment, the technican, "Jason" was courteous, polite and very professional. He performed a full service inspection on my (2) HVAC systems and I discussed details and the options for the dampers with him. He did an exceptional job and it was extremely affordable! While inspecting the systems, it was raining and Jason found a "leak" in my furnance ductwork that he brought to my attention. The technician's knowledge and expertise were truly expectional as well as his attention to detail in the overall service. I am so pleased to have Rite Temp as my new HVAC company. They do business the "old-fashioned" way! Their commitment to quality and customer service excellence is truly refreshing. They also traveled 1 hour and 15 minutes to my location which is incredible considering many other HVAC companies are not willing to travel outside their service areas. I have been in the engineering & construction industry for over 30 years. Rite Temp has definately "set the bar" for the highest standards of customer service excellence in the HVAC industry.

Rite Temp did an outstanding job. About 2 years ago we had obtained a quote and couldn't afford to pursue a geothermal system. But we had really liked the company and the concept, so we re-contacted the estimator, Paul Crawford. He immediately emailed us and was very responsive. We re-bid the job and he worked with us to obtain the permits and to order the system parts. He made sure we got the paperwork for the tax credits on time for this tax year and he personally was on the job every single day for the 2 weeks it took to install it. The team of guys were all very professional, cleaned up after each area and day, and were friendly and so easy to work with. They had to trench a water line from the lake area through the yard. They hand-dug around the house to avoid severing any drip irrigation and gas lines. When they accidentally cut the satellite cable, they repaired it. Upon installing the thermostats, we had to remove an old, unsightly one, and Paul personally went out and purchased a door-bell box that would cover the ugly wiring in that bedroom. They installed a 2 ton and a 3 ton water furnace along with an air handler, and connected the system to our hot water heaters. They were here every day all day till after 5 pm many days--amazing work ethic displayed. My husband and I are so pleased and would recommend this company to anyone. Did I mention that they had to bring a boat to properly place the piping system?? That day required almost their entire mechanical team and managers to get all the work done. All day they worked to get everything done property and with great attitude. This is an excellent, well-managed company and we are extremely happy with the product so far, the way it's operating, and with the tremendous installation experience!! Afterwards we received a beautifully prepared booklet with all of our warranty information, tax forms, contact info, and operations manuels---Wow!!!
