Being new to South Carolina there was no one I could speak with to recommend a HVAC contractor. I turned to Home Advisor and that was good decision #1. Of course the most important decision was the choice of a contractor and I saw that P&W reviews were VERY positive. I called and owner/operator Steven Berry stopped by and patiently walked me through my options. Going in I felt that the age of my unit and its lack of service should tend toward replacement which is what I chose to do. Steve helped me to feel comfortable with that decision and never did I feel any pressure. He and his helpers are courteous, professional, and highly competent. I will definitely recommend P&W HVAC Services to anyone in need of HVAC service and know that its good advice.

Called and fortunately for me P&W HVAC/Steve was able to come to my home the same day. He found that the motor was out on my HVAC and thankfully it was under warranty. Mr. Berry, the owner/operator was at my home less than 45 minutes after I filled out my information on HomeAdvisor, assuring me he could have me up and running in time for work. About an hour and a quater later, the work was complete. Promise kept. He even volunteered to change my filters. As a restaurant manager with very little free time, I value his efficiency, client service, and value. (I even attempted to recruit him for commercial work.)

I work from 8:00AM to 4:30PM and it takes me approx. 20 to 30 minutes to get home. I explained this to Steven because I could not leave work in the middle of the day and he said he could come basically after "Normal" business hours. Steven came after 6:00PM and was very quick to diagnose the problem. We discussed my options and I told him what I wanted to do. Steven proceeded without question and in a very timely manner. When he was finished I was waitng for the bill and when I got the price I was pleasantly surprised. I thought I was going to have to spend a lot more than I actually did. His rates were extremely reasonable, even though he came afterhours. He also stayed and checked the whole system and was very patient and did not at all act like he was in a hurry. Bottom line, I would highly recommend him and his services. A1 customer service and honesty. Hard to find good honest people like him these days.

Steven explained the entire process and what exactly had failed in the unit. His rates were extremely reasonable, eventhough he came afterhours on the weekend. He was friendly, knowledgable, and was prepared to complete the job promptly. I would recommend him to others and plan to call him again for A/C maintenence.
