+ -1 moreThey were excellent. Two people came out to preform the service and it took about 3 hours. They were very personable and they told me everything they were doing in detail. I knew they were trustworthy. They left the area very clean. I think their ability to kind of describe everything that they did and portray their trustworthiness allows you to believe that they are only fixing what needs to be fixed and not doing anything unnecessary.
Description of Work: Repaired a broken air conditioning system in the house.

+ -1 moreI was amazed at how much more thorough he was than the guys (other firms) in previous years, plus he took the time to explain what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what he found and what it meant. He even straightened out mushed-up, flattened little vent/grid things on the back, and no one has ever gone to that kind of trouble to make it run more efficiently, and it was all part of the package. REALLY GOOD WORK!

Description of Work: This repair was through our home warranty provider. Our upstairs unit went out but we did not find out until late Thursday evening. Called the home warranty company who provided A-1 Refrigeration’s contact info. It was almost 10pm when I called and did not expect to make contact ;but hoped to leave a message for an early repair the next day. Mr. Shultz answered and said he could come out that evening. He had a few calls ahead of us but insisted that he could investigate that evening. Shocked that he was working so late but thankful that he was willing to come out right away. I described the problem to him and he diagnosed the fault as we spoke. His diagnosis was spot on and after a quick replacement of a large capacitor, we were back below 85 degrees inside. He was knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and very accommodating. Skeptical at first I would place him above two other local AC companies the warranty folks have dispatched in the past.
