We twice attempted to get these folks to bid the project. Both times they responded via email with link to their web site. Apparently too busy to call back or bid new business. A shame to spend money advertising, yet not follow up with prospects.

Project went extremely well. Contractors employees continually kept us in the loop and assisted with advice on modifications. Office staff was very efficient in meeting the requirements of VA paperwork.

I was very happy with the paint job, the young man was quick and efficient. This was a project I wanted done quickly as I was entertaining the following week. NO complaints at all

They've been really good. I spent about $500 or $600 on their services. They do very good work and they're very dependable.

Overall great experience, extensive remodel of mater bathroom, great outcome. Very responsiveness and follow up. Design and finished work very good, custom design work excellent. Excellent tile work and creativity.

Workers arrived punctually everyday and cleaned up -they worked in a professional manner - carpenters, plumbers, painters and tile installers performed quality work in a timely fashion. No negatives - work was completed and in the time frame that was agreed to.

Everything went well until June of this year when in the process of putting the house up for sale we found out that Dumont brothers had never obtained the permits and getting the inspections that they were supposed to do.. When my wife contacted them about this Greg Dumont stated that they always take care of the permits and inspections and he would check their records and get back to us. When they found out that they had not done these things they tried to shift the blame on us. I then contacted Greg Dumont who told me that they would take care of the matter. After not hearing back for a couple weeks, I took the matter to the Better Business bureau. They informed the BBB that they were taking care of the matter. And the BBB considered this a good faith attempt on the Dumont Bros side and ended the case (I now know who's side the BBB is on). Later we received a final completion notice from Dumont Bros from the county, stated that the Dumont Bros had installed glass to an existing porch. This was not satisfactory considering all the work they performed on the porch that should have been inspected and it is making it hard for us to try and sell the property. They are nothing but a bunch of liars, who once they got their money, don't care about the client. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Dumont Brothers Inc had excellent workers who were very pleasant to work with, they know what they're doing, the general contractors and the different people who come by present everything very upfront, everything is very clear with change orders so there are no surprises, and they just do a very good job. They're probably the most excellent contractors on Pawley's Island. They have an excellent reputation and do a great job. They work very quickly, they get a good crew in there to get the job done right, and they get out. I highly recommend Dumont Brothers Inc.

The entire project went extremely well from start to finish. This is a 2nd home for us which means any remodeling would be done long distance so it was important to select a contractor we could trust. Greg DuMont provided the original quote of work and made a lot of very useful suggestions. Our original scope of work was bigger than our budget so we prioritized our projects which Greg completely understood. We waited until December to make our final decision and Greg was willing to work with our completion date as long as I was responsive with tile selections, etc. Linda in the office was my main contact. She was a pleasure to work with and was very helpful in making sure my tile, fixture and carpet selections were in stock. She was extremely responsive and often emailed or called with periodic updates. We were not present during any of the construction work so the updates were appreciated. We visited the property right after the project completion and we blown away by the outcome. The refinished floors gleamed and looked wonderful. The french doors are a vast improvement over the sliding doors. And, the new walk-in shower was spectacular. During the project, I got a couple of calls from the plumber, etc. Everyone I spoke with at DuMont was very professional and explained what they were doing and why. While we were visiting, I noticed a couple of maintenance issues on items that weren't in the scope of the work. Greg and Tim, the project supervisor, literally had people at the house the next day to get those new issues fixed. We still have some items left from our original wish list and once we have the budget for those, we are calling DuMont Brothers!

Efficient replacement

Showed up on time and finished job in a timely manner.They were very neat and kept unit as clean as possible while working.Hauled away all trash and cleaned unit after job completed.They are not the cheapest but you usually get what you pay for.

They seemed like a great company but they were extremely expensive in comparison with other companies I inquired with.

They were on time and their estimate was accurate. They did the work, finished it quickly and the work was done well. The price was fair and I will use them again in the future.

The work took approximately 7 hours and looked flawless when he was done. Contractor did a perfunctory cleaning as well so no major mess. He even repaired the hinge on a dragging door for free. Overall neither the cheapest nor most expensive but have used them several times and always received consistent, quality work with conscientious follow ups to determine satisfaction.

Very punctual service from start to finish. Contractor arrived and provided an estimate with an exact date and time the work would take place. Painter arrived on time and completed the repairs quickly. Provided a chip sample from the old ceiling and I provided the paint from the local hardware supply. When the color did not match the painter was able to blend on the spot to get the match near perfect. The only complaint I have is that he repaired to seams in an octagonal ceiling and instead of painting the entire space between them tried to feather the paint in so in certain lighting the repair cany be seen. On the plus side, the bill came in 15% under estimate.
