Description of Work: Mark provided a written estimate via email and we agreed. When asked when he could do the job he told us mid April. When he didn't get back to us and April 15 passed we emailed him and ask for a definite date. Mark responded that he would be at my home the following week but wasn't sure of the exact day. We have not heard from him since.

Description of Work: Mark was very professional. He explained in detail what had caused some of the current issues and what he would do to correct them. He also shared his secret for getting a really neat line where the ceiling meets the walls. He does all the work himself with no helpers which, to me anyway, means he is going to do exactly what he says he will do. Unfortunately, Mark was extremely busy and had just contracted for a really big job, which meant he would not be able to do the entire house at one time and before the holidays. Because we had just moved in at the very end of September and had been living in upheaval with contractors finishing up the kitchen, roof and some othe issues, my significant other really just wanted to get the painting done and over with. While the company we hired did an ok job, I really regret not waiting until Mark was available. Since I didn't use him, I can't say for sure that he would have done a better job, but I have a feeling he would have. PS: I did not share his secret for getting a really neat line where the walls meet the ceiling (he had asked me not to) and the lines are not as neat as I would have liked. Will definitely contact him in the future!

Description of Work: Mark Dozier painted the den/office in our home, walls and trim, including crown molding. Mark painted our living room, kitchen, hallways, and laundry room a couple of years ago.

+ -1 moreI trusted him to begin while I was out of town - he did and it went well. He works by himself; removes pictures, moves furniture as needed. All I did to prepare was remove breakables from etagere and bakers rack..he did the rest. He was a joy to work with.

+ -1 moreHe showed up on time. He had the correct equipment. He passed on some discounts. He was very maticouliuos, we have a big deck and he went over everything with his brush. He did not use any rollers or spays. It had been raining, so he came back and make sure the job was done correctly. He was very condescension, he made sure the job was done right. He did his research on the project.

I watched him prepare surfaces and pant them and there is no way an average painter would take such pride in his work. Mark exceeded my expectations by a long shot and I am certain I will use his services again.

+ -1 moreWe had remodeling work done in the bathroom and walk-in pantry. The bathroom walls needed considerable prepping because the sheetrock was damaged. Dozier made the repairs, prepped and painted the walls and woodwork. In the pantry, he did extensive prepping of the sheetrock, painted the walls and primed and painted all the shelving. He showed up on time, worked all day, and was very flexible in accommodating the carpenter who was fitting the shelving.
Description of Work: Dozier prepped and painted one bathroom and a new food pantry, including all the new wood shelves.
