Dependable Service Plumbing

They do the service very well. They were on time and very dependable. Everything is working well. It was great.

The next morning Dependable Service sent a technician that quickly capped of the damaged pipe below the split. He waited to make sure there were no other hidden leaks. While waiting for the cap to set, we discussed options for two other future plumbing projects, which impressed me. Will use them again.

I read a response to a bad review on this site that explained their pricing structure; they do not bill by time and materials as they have a standard charge and a $59 "diagnostic fee", so I was braced for a larger than expected bill but the price for replacing a couple of feet of corroded copper water line was excessive even by those standards. They arrived a half hour after the end of the window that I was given also. Thus ends the negative side. The team was capable and professional, the repair was completed in a couple of hours and I had water up and running by the time they left. I called them that morning and they were there by 5pm to get me up and running again. No one else I spoke to could respond as quickly. My problems with this service provider is two-fold. Simply, the diagnostic fee should be credited back on the bill if you use their service as diagnosing the issue is part of fixing it. Obviously if the customer elects to not have the service completed by them, the fee would still apply. Secondly, i found the cost somewhat excessive. Even the tech seemed a bit embarrassed delivering the quote but I was in a tight spot as the water had been out for over a day at that point and it would have set me back to square one to opt out, pay the "diagnostic fee", and find a more reasonably priced service. Understand that I still thing the service provided was great and have no problem with the techs whatsoever. Just a little sticker shocked.

They arrived on the job site with all the necessary equipment, parts, and materials and finished on schedule.

The inspection went well. I will continue to use them for this service, which includes flushing of hot water heater.

After charging a $59 dispatch fee just to show up, they convinced my wife that it would cost $398 more to stop the leak. Thus, the total bill was $457 to fix a leak. The technician was on site for about 90 minutes. When i received the bill and asked for a breakdown between parts and labor, they refused. (I would guess the parts were less than $20) I asked to speak with a manager and/or have the manager call me. No return phone call for weeks! When I called them again, they refused to provide justification for the excessive billing. Never, never again!!!

I would probably give them a B across the board. They did a good job. They showed up on time. They did what they said they were going to do. They fixed the problem. There really wasn't a bad experience with them. The only thing that I would even mention being bad which wasn't really bad was that they had to come back again and correct more of the same problem. It was a failure of the material. They fixed the first failure and then they had to come back and fix a second different failure. It was not their fault.

Very well. The technician, Steve, was on time, extremely knowledgeable, and very customer oriented. He took care of the main issue (toilet), checked and checked/cleared several drains.

Under extremely hot conditions plumber replaced necessary drain pipes quickly and efficiently.

Mike was professional and explained everything he did and gave recommendation that we have Sheetrock cut so that wall and insulation can dry out.

Took Steve, the plumber, three hours because there were no clean outs in the system. He had to remove a tolet and snake through the piping. He inspected the piping with a camera to insure the line was clear after snaking . He was very professional.

We called and was greeted and treated w/great courtesy on the phone...an appointment was set for the next day. A service man came and spent @ least 3 hrs thoroughly checking the entire drain system. He took pictures to show the damage and help explain exactly what was needed in repairs. I personally was at work and the pictures were very helpful in making decisions.Sharon remarked that he put" booties" on before entering house and she really appreciated that. We got a prompt ,detailed estimate and along w/the pictures...we made arrangements to pay that worked out very well for both parties. Next day a crew of 1 came and quickly completed the work ....ahead of schedule ! in blazing S Carolina heat ! As of this review date ...the work done is bullet-proof ..We very pleased

Went very well, technician was courteous and quick, did a great job with installation, looks so much better , before who ever installed prior water heater did a real sloppy job, but technician Steve fixed all! Now it's all cleaned up with better quality parts and no exposed wires or leaks! Awesome job!

Paul was extremely professional, expedient and informative. The job was done in no time at all and Paul explained the steps with a smile on his face the whole time.

Our whole experience was excellent. The receptionist was very pleasant and we set up a time to have them come out which was tough due my wife and I's work schedules.They showed up on time with all the tools necessary for the job. They were very professional and considerate of our home. We have a dirt drive way and it tracks a lot of dirt in the house. Our plumber came in and left his shoes at the door and put on booties to enter our home. We also have an 80 lb lab. He was happy to pet and greet him even though our dog sounded like he wanted to eat him. Although not a tough job, what I assume is fairly common, they were in and out in no time and our fixtures finally drain properly. I could not be more happy or recommend a company more.

Using an electric snake, the plumber cleared all the drain lines in the house. Then he used a snake camera and verified that there was nothing remaining of a blockage. The plumber was very efficient and he had the needed equipment in his truck.

Quick, clean and professional. A very nice job and we are quite pleased both with the installation and the price. I'd hire them again for any other plumbing work we may need done. This is an update to my review: Within a week of the install, the new toilet failed through NO FAULT of DS Plumbing. Joe came out on SATURDAY and repaired the toilet and then came back a few days later to install a new commode. He checked all the pipes/plumbing and did the install. Cannot believe the fabulous service! He called in a few days to be sure it was working properly and we are amazed. Besides that, DS Plumbing issued a refund for the price of the failed commode. We are more than pleased and look forward to using DS for some updates in the future. Customer Service is first and foremost for this company. They are amazing!!!

I was really pleased with their work. He came on with bootees on his feet and a name tag on. He also had a shirt bearing the name of the company so it made me very comfortable to work with him. Whenever he came in and out he was very careful to remove and put on the bootees. He would give me a report of what he was going to do. They are very polite also.
