. The contracter, Duane gave us a fair estimate and working with a supply door vendor, found just what we were looking for. It did take longer for it to come in, but Duane kept making phone contact with us as we all waited. Once it came in, he and his team showed up to install the double doors. On the first one they found much water damage and they made some recommendations for us to work with our insurance folks to cover it. They waited until the insurance folks denied us, then immediately came back to work and installed all three doors. They daily cleaned up their mess and when they had to leave an opening, put in a plywood cover to protect us. They also cut in our drywall upstairs to get a better look at any water damage. They neatly repaired the drywall. They replaced the water damaged wood with pressure treated wood and replaced the cedar planking on our exterior to match our other wood.

Duane Hartgrove came to our home to do this repair. He dug out the main posts that were leaning, replaced them with new posts and set them in cement. After the cement dried, he returned and attached the railing (that had come apart) and straightened out the trim. When Duane was finished, it was all like new. He was just great, a pleasure to deal with, and obviously very experienced. I thought that his price, which included the posts, was more than reasonable.

Provider was punctual, concise and creative in repairs/estimates. Primary work overseen by him was excellent. The sub-contractors he used were less than desirable. The wallboard people left smears of "mud" on thebzthroom door and didn't properly fill in wallboard gaps. The plumber he used ....my sink and shower plumbing still have leaks 1 1/2 yrs later. I contacted the plumber at time of discovery who offered to fix the problems. I'd just as soon not.

I gave him a list of touch ups and liked that he seemed honest about the prices and alternatives for them. I also liked his subcontractors.

Everything went great from start to finish. I am now home, and my house looks beautiful. This is all due to this outstanding contractor.

Mr. Duane Hartgrove, owner and driving force of Creative Homes, came to my house in late August 2011 , surveyed the bath's condition and told me he would have an estimation shortly thereafter. Mr. Hartgrove later suggested ways to cut costs without a loss of quality and even offered to drop the original estimation cost if warranted. How many contractors do you know that would do such as this? The sub-flooring was repaired and the upper layer replaced with treated plywood. New linoleum was laid (I left ther style at Mr. Hartgrove's discretion-that's how much I value this man's taste).. He replaced the cast iron tub with a 4 unit bath/tub enclosure, had a new commode seated and repaired the vanity (another one of his expense saving suggestions) Tore out the existing tile and damaged sheetrock , installed new sheetrock and fixtures He continually monitored the quality and pace of his crew's work.

Mr Hartgrove was great. Rainwater had somehow come through the back door of our house, and over time had damaged the sub-flooring so badly, there was a hole under the carpet beside the door. Mr Hartgrove picked up a storm door and installed it right away, so that there would be no further damage to the floor. He later came back with another door. He removed the old door with the casing, the trim, and all the bad flooring. I think that a less skilled and thorough carpenter would not have gone to that trouble, to replace the bad sub-floor; he would have just fixed the flooring, without dealing with the door. This was a much more professional, well done job. We were very happy to have it properly fixed, at a good price. I highly recommend Creative Homes.

My wife and I were pretty upset when a water heater burst and flooded the first floor of a rental property. Much of the sub-flooring, and crawlspace insulation, needed to be ripped out and replaced. Duane Hartgrove, the owner, was great. He got right in with his workers, and did the job neatly and quickly. He consulted with me several times, and handled the insurance paperwork. I thought the price was very fair, for the amount of work involved. I would recommend Mr. Hartgrove and Creative Homes to anyone.

The quality of workmanship was excellent; the crew(s) were on time every day and work was completed in a timely manner.
