DO NOT HIRE THEM! I paid for 35 bales, which they spread on Monday, Nov 16th, but they told me they didn’t have enough on their truck to finish the large area at the very FRONT of our yard. Kris told me they would be back the next day at 10am to finish. No one showed on Tuesday. I texted him and he ‘promised’ he would be there ‘between jobs’ to finish on Tuesday. No one showed Tuesday. I texted 11am on Wednesday and Kris texted back he was in a meeting and was going to call his guys and see what h be appened.’ It’s now December 7th, 3 weeks later, and it still isn’t finished. I texted Kris one last time that it still was not finished. He tested back-‘My truck is in the shop.’ I shouldn’t have paid them until they finished the entire job, but I trusted them. DON’T trust them.

I wished I had been home to inspect what I was expecting. My spouse told me that their was a mess every where the needles were spread and had to actually point out areas and ask for the debris to be blown off/cleaned up. When spouse asked why are the needles clumped up around the edges and not tucked in to look nice (for "first impression" appearance) the response was b/c the rain will do that. ??? The point of paying for landscaping is to have a nice looking property when completed. Additonally - the quality of the pine needles are horrible - short needles and old...had I been home I would not have accepted them. Having lived in Southern Pines/Pinehurst for most of my life...I understand the quality of pine needles for landscaping. Salt to the wound: I'm all for giving a 2nd shot...we used this company once before and the pine needles were good then BUT I had to go behind them to make sure the installation was to my satisfaction and was actually questioned about what I was asking for (like I needed to spend more money for the service provided if I wanted it done right)...they even used my own blower back b/c their's was "out of gas". Shame on me for being Mr. Nice Guy. The issues will be resolved or new check won't be issued.

They were really good about carrying the needles to the back and leaving a necessary distance between the bundles.
Description of Work: They delivered bales of pine straw to our house.
