Description of Work: Moved large pieces of furniture across town to a new house. The process was easy and smooth. Their original vehicle had a flat tire on the way to pick up the furniture. They promptly notifies us and arrived as soon as alternative vehicle was obtained. They were careful with the furniture and it arrived in good shape.

Description of Work: Moved four large boxes (each were six foot tall bookcases to be assembled) from Direct Buy across town to my house & carried them up one flight of stairs.

+ -1 moreMr. Ruple provided a verbal quote a few weeks before the move. Lead time was 2-4 weeks. They arrived on time and worked hard and fast. Fragile Items were diligently wrapped and protected. They arrived at the destination in a timely manner. They dis-assembled and re-assembled all furniture, beds, desks, etc. using their own tools. No surprise or extra charges of any kind. Mr. Ruple seems like an honest man. *Positives: cost $, quick, handy, experienced and reliable if willing to accept some risk - see below. *Negatives: no formal contract, just a verbal informal 'gentleman's handshake'. Description of Work: Contracted for a small move across town. He rents a truck & provides a crew on move day. Perfect for small local moves. They really helped us out moving from apartment to our new home.
