Description of Work: Eric Bozard, the technician who checked my old AC/Heating unit system diagnosed it to have cracked heat-exchanger, which can/will discharge carbon monoxide into my house. He concluded that I needed a new unit with a good heat exchanger. He then sold me a refurbished system for persistent $800 cash and claimed that both the heating and the AC systems were working well. However, the Edisto heating and cooling technician diagnosed the system to have cracked heat exchanger and the AC section was wired incorrectly, a fire hazard! I called Andy Bozard Company several times and I was asked to stay home and wait for Eric Bozard for two different consecutive days, but he never showed up. I called both his cell phone and the business phone and left a message, but no response. On one occasion, he picked up the phone and disguised to be someone else. I wrote the comments for three reasons: first I barely escaped death from carbon monoxide from carbon monoxide discharged into my house. Second for him to stop duping honest people for their hard earned money. Last but not the least, Angie's List should distance their company from Andy Bozard Heating and Cooling in order to protect the integrity and quality of the services provided. I'll be glad to show you evidences to back up my claim.

+ -1 moreI called Five heating and air companys in Orangeburg SC and Andy Bozard heating and air was the only one to respond as promised.there service was quick fast promt .the last company we called george limehouse told us that we needed a new a/c unit and wanted 5800.00 dollars total cost for replacement .all that we needed was a new thermostat that came with a 5yr replacement warranty .thanks for doing us a fantastic job. + -1 moreFreon was added, but did not cool the house. He explained that the unit was at least 20 years old (it was actually less than 10). He also said the compressor was shot, but it wasn't. He actually put too much freon in the unit, which caused heat to blow out of the vents.
