Then she wanted us to move forward with the sale of the house after the repairs were "completed" by a contractor who didn't specialize in foundation repairs. Sellers didn't hire the structural engineer as we required on our signed contract. Debbie just said, "that's how it's done in North Carolina." She didn't even check to see if seller pulled permits for the job. Job wasn't done to code. We did end up buying the house but after lots of stress and without our agent backing us up.

Initially, I was going to sell my townhouse and buy a new house, but later decided to retain the townhouse and purchase another property. Debbie didn't bat an eye and from then on focused on finding the right house for me to move in to. Debbie is also a great adviser and advocate and helped me navigate the whole home purchasing rigmarole from financing, to closing, to managing some after-closing issues with the sellers which required her to work with the sellers’ real estate agent until the matter was resolved to my satisfaction. All in all, working with Debbie was a very positive experience and I love my new home. I wholeheartedly recommend Debbie’s services to anyone wanting to sell or purchase a home.

We had a great phone conversation talking about what I was looking for and could afford. She set me up on websites to look to see what was available and then followed up a few days later to set up an appointment to visit some of those places. She was great thought the whole process - recommending, but not pushing, different companies and vendors to use for mortgages, inspections, etc. After doing my own research, I did use her recommendations - they ended up being at the top of my list, too! The market in my price range and neighborhood was moving so quickly, we essentially put in a verbal offer at 6 o'clock at night after viewing my now house. If it wasn't for Debbie's quick reaction and her past relationship with the seller's agent, I'm not sure my offer would've been accepted so quickly. Debbie always made sure to keep me apprised of what what was going on and anything that needed special attention. She was the perfect agent for me! Totally will recommend her to friends who are looking to buy or sell their house.

We saw probably more than 30 houses in four months. She always provided us detailed information about each house. She was also very helpful in negotiating with the seller on behalf of us and in the closing process. Even more than a year after closing, when she knew that we still have unsettled issues with the seller/builder, she came the next day to take pictures, and she helped us to talk to the seller/builder to successfully solve these issues.

They don't miss any detail in serving you during the stressful process. In short, you cannot do better, if you are looking to buy or sell in the Charlotte area and nearby locales, than to use their services and expertise.. Description of Work: My wife and I have enjoyed two outstanding business relatioships with Arriero Realty, one in June 1994 and one in February 2011. In the first case, I was downsized by my company and we could no longer afford the home in which we were living in Charlotte, NC. We had heard good things about Arriero Realty so we turned to them to sell the home as soon as possible AND find us a new home locally we could afford to move into. Their service on both counts was superior. They accurately price-pointed our sale (1994) and our too-expensive-for-us home was sold in weeks (including closing) at an excellent price. Simultaneously, they identified a new development being built South of Charlotte (about 15 miles away) and, along with the developer's agent, helped us identify a lot and house model that we both loved and could afford. We moved into that built-to-our-specs home in November 1994, a brand new home in what turned into a beautiful cul-de-sac that we enjoyed for sixteen years. Once again, the pricing was terrific since we got pre-construction pricing. Lest you wonder, we did live in an apartment until our new home was built. Arriero Realty helped us find that apartment as well. SO, kudos for that entire effort! THEN, in 2011, our son-in-law and our daughter relocated to West Chester, PA due to his promotion in his company. Since our daughter is our only child, we decided we wanted to be close to them. Without hesitation, we turned to Arriero Realty again to sell our home in a terrible down market. To be honest, we thought we would take a real "bath" in price OR not sell at all. As before, Arriero Realty priced our home perfectly (and much higher than we thought possible). To our surprise, buyers committed to buy our house within two weeks of it going on the market. Our neighbors were staggered that we could sell, particularly at the price negotiated, which was well above what we or our friends thought possible. We closed on March 30, 2011 and are now living in our retirement luxury apartment in Newtown Square, PA (no, Arriero Realty did not close that deal). It should be easy for the reader to note that my wife and I think the world of this company and will miss them.
