 + 0 moreI removed the old tub. They cut out the old floor and installed new cement. They used a couple of coats to get the level perfect. They then installed the first layer of waterproofing. Next came the cement board and then three additional layers of waterproofing. Then they installed the tile, and the next day the grout. We waited two days to use the new shower, we are very happy with it.
Description of Work: WE have used Dave for flooring several times in the past and they always did a quality job. This time we decided to install a wheel-chair accessable shower. They did a great job. It took longer than I expected as they put in several coats of water-proofing, prior to installing the tiles (I had assumed they would only need one coat, not four). Dave has a great selection of tiles (and other flooring), and his crew did a really great job of installation. This is the fourth time we have had them install flooring and have not been disapointed yet. Great looking work at a good price.
