They were very good and outstanding. I have recommended them to others. They are prompt and they will be there the time they said they are going to be. You can call them at anytime at night and they will come out and fix the problem. They are well mannered and very courteous. They give you the cost of whatever the piece that they had to replace then and there. If they don't have that piece on their truck they will tell you then and there and how long it is going to take for them to get that.

My husband and I had made the decision to replace the furnace and outside cooling unit of a home we had bought last year in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area.. The furnace and outside unit were both the original of this home which made both units over 22 years old. We spoke to the heating/air conditioning people at Lowe's (located at Seaboard Circle in Myrtle Beach) and made an appointment to have a heating/cooling contractor to come out to our home. This is how we met Jeremy of and quot;J and J Airand quot; located on Highway 9 in Long's South Carolina. From the moment Jeremy knocked on our door for our first visit with him, we considered ourselves very, very lucky to have found such a reliable, honest, knowledgable professional. During our initial visit (which took a couple hours), Jeremy assessed our original furnace and outside unit and sat down with us to explain what heating and cooling requirements were correct for our home. There was NO HIGH PRESSURE SALES PITCHES at any time; just facts and information for my husband and I to make an informed decision as to what we could afford, the different manufacturer's units we could choose from, etc. All work details and costs were fully explained prior to signing any contract for the work. Jeremy was able to flex his company's prior commitments to help us since we had such a limited schedule at the time! They arrived on time to begin the work since the job would take all day. Floor coverings were laid in our home to prevent any dirt or damage to the ceramic floors. Jeremy checked on the two employees doing the work a least a few times throughout the day.His employees were polite, hard-working and professional at all times. We had NO Clean-up whatsoever when everything had been installed. His company did a follow-up to make sure everything was functioning to our satisfacation and to answer any further questions we might have. Excellent contractors are hard to find and this is one of them!. We will have J and J Air do any and all of our heating and cooling work and maintenance needs.

We were amazed with the professionalism of everyone during this experience. They always called before they came to be sure it was convenient. They arrived looking professional and were most courteous. The day of the installation the crew of three arrived on time, 8:30 A.M., and began work and continued through the day to be sure we would have heat that evening. They removed the old unit and put the new one in place, The air handler in the attic was removed and replaced an larger duct work installed in the attic and all filters changed. My husband and I were both educated on the use of the new thermostat. Just as they were about to complete the job one of the installers tripped and his foot went through the kitchen ceiling. They were mortified. They cleaned up the insulation that came through and covered the hole to keep cold air from coming down. They completed the clean up and were gone about 6:15 P.M. They took all packaging and the old unit with them. At 3 P.M. the following day J and J had a very quailifed repair person here who worked until 7 P.M. to begin repair on the hole in the ceiling. He returned the following day to complete the repair. Also on Wednesday Bryan, the operations manager, came to review the work that had been done and answer any questions we might have concering the new unit. He also wanted to be assured that we were completely happy with the repair to the ceiling. We could not be more pleased with the work and the professionalism along with finance plan that Trane offered. Rob or Bryan will be coming in the fall to evaluated the system and be sure all in running porperly.

Over all the service was excellent. Appointment scheduleing was easy and the arrival of the person to do the maintenance was here on time for the appointment.
