Description of Work: UPDATE: The owner of Precision called my husband and personally apologized for our experience. He refunded us for the additional part that we weren't originally quoted and wrote us a personal letter (handwritten, even) as well apologizing for the service and promising to correct the deficiency in his company which caused our dismay. We would definitely use them again. OLD POST: My husband called in advance for a price quote to replace the spring on the garage door for our tenants. He was told a part and labor price but was never informed that we would be required to replace both springs if our garage door had two. He even told the woman on the phone that our door had two springs. When the technician arrived the following day, on time, on a Saturday (all good), we were told it would be almost twice what we were quoted. And, he had to be paid right then. We prefer full disclosure and won't be using this company again just because of that. Otherwise, the service was good, the work was done well and quickly. It may have taken my husband longer to do it himself but for that amount of money, it will be a DIY job next time.

Description of Work: After signing up for special and representative coming out, he recommended the upgraded service that was needed to get my garage door in top shape. I did not feel that I got the discounted service as was in the ad but they did credit the 99 dollars I had spent towards it. Ended up being very expensive. Not sure whether it was reasonable or not. Did not get to shop around. I was happy with the work and they were very clean and efficient.

Description of Work: The technician was very professional and informative. He was verY punctual. The charge for the service itself was reasonable; however, I thought the $15.00 fuel surcharge was a bit excessive, especially since Precision is located about 1.5 miles from my house.

Description of Work: I took the deal for $ 99.00 for an inspection and cleaning of the garage door mechanism. Since the garage door was original to the house which was built in 1991, the person doing the inspection, suggested replacing the spring, cables and rollers, which I agreed to. The work was excellent, but my only objection was that I had to pay $ 65.00 for the service call, which I was told I would have to pay even if I went with the original $ 99.00 deal. Nothing was said about the additional $ 65.00 when the big deal was advertised.

Description of Work: Good job. Great service tech. He replaced rollers and bearings with higher quality parts. Did some trouble shooting of opener and didn't upcharge for that either. He discovered my opener was broken and I needed a new one, BUT didn't try to high-pressure sell me on an expensive replacement. Overall a great experience. Would be better if their openers were less expensive, BUT theirs are a MUCH higher quality than what I needed and so I just opted for a cheaper version from Sears.

Description of Work: Very professional, very friendly service. They really know garage doors. I had squeaking in one garage door. The tech cured it. Also, recommended installing quiet roll wheels, but did not push for it at all. Iliked that

Description of Work: They came and did a TUNE-UP on my current garage door. Told me that my tension bar needed fixing and would cost about $700.00. They installed a wireless keypad at the entry way of my garage, however after 60 days it stopped working and I can't reprogram it and to have them come out again it would be a Trip Charge at minimum. Other then that - I was really impressed with them.
