I asked Paint One to paint the entire exterior of my home after securing 4 different quotes, 3 of which were from top Angie's List painting companies. His ability to guarantee his work and the paint itself against peeling, cracking and--most importantly (to me)--fading for 5 years was a huge selling point for me. No one else offered me a 5 year guarantee, and no one who quoted me with a guarantee offered any kind of guarantee to resist fading. Pedro and his crew worked dilligenty and professionally to complete the job in a timely manner. All of the damaged siding and rotted wood was removed from the exterior of my home and replaced with quality materials. They were able to carefully remove the custom wire grid for my climbing roses, which was attached to the facing of my home. They prepared and painted this portion of my home all at one time in order to limit the disturbance to the roses, putting the entire thing back the way it was after they were done that day. I couldn't be happier about the quality of the wood work and painting they performed. My home looks better now than the day I bought it. Crew arrived each morning and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day.

Excellent. Pedro was very responsive to my request for an estimate and provided a great price quote for all the services his company provided. His crew was curteous and professional and cleaned the job site each day before leaving. The crew worked very hard from early morning unitl dark almost every day as well as on Saturday to finish the job as soon as possible. The materials used and the worksmanship was top quality. The crew did all cleanup of rotted wood and replaced my screens in the windows. Pedro stayed in touch with me through out the job to ensure I was satisfied and informed as to their schedules. When working on my chimney area the crew found additional wood rot on the underlying plywood itself. Pedro quickly provided me an estimate to replace all plywood or just rotted plywood and helped me choose the best option (in this case to replace only the rotted plywood). I feel Pedro is a very ethical and professional business man and his company does top quality work for a great price. Pedro also informed me that as his customer he would come back every year and pressure wash my house, deck, and driveway for only $100 - this is an excellent price. I will continue to use this company in the future for my painting needs.

The experience was excellent from day one. He showed up on time was VERY professional in recommendations and presentations. He gave a fair estimate when compared with others for same job but seemed more knowledgeable of the job than the others. He was not at all pushy nor did he tried to expand on what we needed done. He provided a detailed estimate in a very professional package which included his credentials, license, insurance and references. All the latter without being asked. The next day he followed up in case we had questions and/or other concerns. Still he did not try to sell but was very cordial. He sent a professional paint expert (coordinator) to help select choices that would be complementary to decor and original art on the walls. This was included in the price. The painters arrived on time. They covered EVERYTHING with plastic protecting floors and furniture. They patched all holes and caulked where necessary. The paint prep alone took a long time but it was worth seeing the care they put into this. They moved all furniture when needed and covered that too. Then they painted. They were fast and thorough not to mention extremely professional. Very little masking tape was used but they never strayed with paint where it did not belong. Very steady hands all of them. At time sit seemed like an army had descended, one would paint corners and edges, while others would paint centers, while others patched and trimmed. When finished it was a fantastic job. Then we looked at the job we had ahead to clean the dust that had sneaked under plastic, but they were NOT finished, in came in a crew of two cleaning women under whose direction all windows and surfaces were dusted, all floors cleaned and the house was left sparkling more than when they started. Painting is something I normally do myself. BUT, there is no way I could have done all they did in two and one half days. Two weeks maybe and still not at all as well as they did it. If I have more painting to be done, I am calling Pedro and you should too. In one word......... WOW!!!

Overall, I found Pedro to be quite professional and courteous, He quickly returned my call and scheduled an appointment with me the same week. Pedro provided me a thorough analysis and estimate of the services to be rendered. Although I decided to retain the services of another vendor, I would consider contacting Pedro in the future.

Pedro and his team did an excellent job from the time of the estimate to final inspection. Pedro's team arrived promptly and worked diligently and stayed late until the day's project was completed. After each working day, I was really pleased that the team cleaned up their stuff and put my things in its original position. I liked that my yard was tidy after they left.

The did an excellent job. It was a very weathered door and it had been stained before. The door was peeling and I thought I might have to replace it. They sanded, stained, and refinished it. It looks beautiful and they did a great job. I would use them for anything that needs to be refinished or painted. They deserve the rating that they have.

My selection of Paint One truly shows the value of Angie's List. I could not have been more pleased with the quality of the painting and carpentry work performed by Pedro and his crew. Pedro is a real professional and was a pleasure to work with. His crew took great care in every aspect of the job from start to finish. In addition to the quality of the painting, their clean up was incredible. Upon completion, Pedro asked me to accompany him on a final inspection to insure that all the work had been done to my satisfaction. I could go on and on, but to sum this up, anyone contemplating a painting project would be doing themselves a disservice by not calling Paint One.

Paint One was wonderful. When Pedro came out for the estimate, he was very professional. He took the most detailed measurements of all our estimates, and gave us a complete written proposal. After we hired him, we were given a free in-home color consultation from Sherwin-Williams, and that helped us significantly to be confident in our color choices. Work began about two weeks later, and the crew was very efficient, and very polite to us. The even did a few extras, like tightening all the interior door handles when they were done. I was amazed at how quickly they worked. They did a great job. What they did beautifully in three days, we would have done sloppily in three weeks. The paint job was great, and they even were able to fix some damage done by our animals to the wood work around the windowsills and doorjambs.

You always wonder if a company will be as careful and pay as much attention to detail as you would and I can't say enough good about Pedro's crew. They went above an beyond prepping all areas to be painted often hand sanding windows down to nearly bare wood. Everything done was done expertly. On time, on budget, curtious...can' say enough good. Pedro is truly deserving of the Super Service Award he received in 2008. Not only was he a pleasure to work with, but his crew was friendly, quiet, neat, dedicated and hardworking. Even after a long day's work they would take the time to clean up around the house, including using a blower to make sure there was no debris on the driveway or walkways. Work commenced on my house within the week that I signed the contract with Paint One. Pedro made sure all rotted wood was replaced as well as ingeniously fixing a gap at the peak of one of my rooflines. The paint job looks wonderful and my deck now looks like it was just installed.

I had a wonderful experience with Pedro and Paint One. He was very responsive from the first phone call. His estimate was complete and included better quality paint than other comparable quotes. His crew were polite and hardworking. I would highly recommend Paint One to anyone!

I spoke with Pedro who promptly arrived to give me a quote. Once I decided to hire his team he worked me into his schedule as quickly as possible since we were putting our home on the market. These guys did a fabulous job. They were super easy to have around, cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day of the 4 day project. We had a storage unit at the rear of our driveway when they did the power washing. Pedro told me to call him when it was moved and they would come back to wash that part of the driveway. I did not ask for this or expect them to do it. That is GREAT service. We noticed that a gutter had not been secured after the project was complete. I called Pedro and they came the next day to fix it. The house looks wonderful. I highly recommend this company!

It went very well. Three coats of paint, as both bedrooms were previously painted dark colors and the new color was a light tan for both bedrooms. Pedro and his crew came in at 8:00am on Wednesday, June 24th as scheduled; covered all the furniture and also covered the floors in the work areas. They did two coats of paint on Wednesday and finishe with the third coat on Thursday. They were finished by 2:00 in the afternoon on the second day. They did an excellent job and left the remainder of the paint for touch ups. I highly recommend Pedro, Paint One LLC and his crew to out perform any job they quote. You will not be disapointed.

I cannot say enough positive things about Pedro or his crew. They were simply fantastic. His quote was very reasonable, and the job was completely finished in two days. Pedro uses premium quality paint, and his crew has been with him for a long time--no subs. They were meticulous about cleaning up after the job, and there isn't a drop of paint on our floors or furniture. Our house looks amazing--and I will definitely be using Pedro for all of our painting needs going forward. We've used other painters in the past--honestly Pedro and his crew are in a league of their own. I highly recommend him!

We have never received better service than we did from Paint One. We had three painters give us quotes on this job. Two were within the same general price (Paint One being one of them). The third was much higher. Pedro himself came over to estimate the work (as opposed to an "estimator" from the other guys). He was always prompt and incredibly professional and prepared. He was much more thorough than any other painter as far as what was included in the services quoted. He suggested staining the deck, which I had not considered. It looks fantastic! When we accepted the quote he scheduled us for about one month out. He called the week before he was scheduled to begin and showed up exactly as promised. This is an old house and the windows alone might have driven anyone else out of their minds. The Paint One crew was very hard-working, courteous, and professional. They worked very long days and were diligent with each task. The care they took with the project was impressive. When the shutters were taken off, an area on one of them was rotten. Paint One replaced the section (about 6 square inches) and it looks absolutely perfect. There was a few pieces of additional rotted wood discovered during the job. They took care of those as well. They charged EXACTLY what they quoted, they did EXACTLY what they promised (and more). They went around and reviewed their own work. When they did walk us around the finished project they were absolutely approachable about any spot we noticed (there were very few). They corrected everything and were very pleasant. I had been dreading getting the house painted (based on our previous experience with another painter). Our entire experience with Paint One was fantastic! The house looks wonderful and I believe that this is the highest quality painting we have ever had done (we have used several different painters in the past).

Pedro and Paint One did a great job. I've worked with a lot of contractors over the past 7 years as I've renovated an older house, and Pedro was probably the best. He's committed to doing the job the way it should be done, and making sure the customer is satisfied. He was always accommodating when I made changes and added things to the project. His workers were good too, diligent and conscientious. I would recommend Pedro without hesitation.

Pedro and his team are simply the best!! Pedro is excellent beginning to end and truly understands his customer's needs. Pedro provided a on site quote and provided an interior decorator!! I will use him and his team again!

Paint One arrived on Monday June 8th 2009 as scheduled with Pedro and his crew. In a blink of an eye they were moving furniture and taping up the plastic sheeting to protect the walls and putting down drop clothes over the carpets and hardwood floors. After that it was all work! They even replaced the caulking between the crown moulding and the ceilings. I was very impressed! Pedro's crew stayed until 8:00 pm the first day and arrived again on Tuesday 8:00 am to finish the job. Thoughout the whole process Pedro kept in touch with his crew and spoke to me with any concerns I might have. Pedro came by today to inspect the work and to schedule another job to paint our Master Bedroom with walkin closet and another bedroom & closet two weeks from now.

This is an amazing crew. Pedro Pedreira, the chief, knows how to organize and manage his crew, he delegates but also supervises. We shall be asking him to return for several other jobs.

The crew arrived on time and on schedule. Despite rain and other conditions they were cheerful and kept us informed of their progress. We worried about painting the exterior after the rain and the owner (Pedro) was very accomodating and gave us his expert opinion on the best time to resume painting. The work was excellent and professional. They listened to all our concerns and addressed every one. The paint crew was professional and courteous. The job was a color change and they hand painted siding and trim with 2 coats. Our house looks GREAT!! Interior work was also great. They repaired all dings and dents in walls and prepped the first day and painted the next. Two coats also. We love it.

Exceptional experience overall from start to finish. Job was awarded after competitive solicitation among Angie's List highly-rated companies. Proprietor Pedro Pedreira distinguished Paint One from the beginning with his approach to quoting -- calm, attentive listening, no pressure -- before presenting his proposal with a full quote package custom-printed from his vehicle onsite (a nice touch!). Once job was awarded, Pedro was able to schedule work satisfactorily within 2 weeks time, and was very accommodating and flexible given our work schedule (offering to meet in evenings and on weekends for follow up). Communication was excellent throughout the project -- prior to start and during the work, which was accomplished in roughly a week (longer than originally planned due to inclement weather). Pedro was personally involved with supervision and oversight of the project each day. The resulting quality of work was outstanding -- great attention to detail, very conscientious effort overall to exceed customer expectations. The original scope of work was expanded when additional water damage was identified and when we requested additional items to be addressed (interior painting, etc.) -- all of these scope change items were reasonably and fairly quoted and performed to similarly high standard. Additionally, Pedro was extremely patient with our questions and requests for advice on related maintenance, etc. Notably, he did not consider every request (however small) as change order and opportunity to add cost to the job -- he was very reasonable and accommodating, with a customer-first attitude in all respects. Paint One's team were all extremely nice and courteous while diligent and no-nonsense, focusing on getting the job completed and done right. In summary, we are very pleased and 100% satisfied with Paint One's work on this project, and would highly recommend them to other potential customers.

It went very smoothly. We have seven separate offices and a main reception/office--we did get a couple of complaints about how noisy the sanding and scraping was and shifted people around to help lessen the impact. Pedro worked with us to help minimize the inconvenient noise and his crew was very cooperative in planning and telling us which side of the house they would be on. If they could not paint because of rain, Pedro always called and also stated when he would be back. They even worked on the weekend to complete the job and they came in on budget with no extra pay for the weekend work.

Very well done job. Workers arrived early and stayed late, were very punctual and if a delay was expected due to rain, we got a call. Pedro involved us in decisions and offered different courses of action to any problems that arose. Neighbors made very favorable comments on how well it turned out.

Pedro and his team are very meticulous and organized in the performance of their duties. All of the furniture that was moved to complete the painting was put back exactly where it was prior to the work getting started. If it wasn’t for the fresh coat of paint and the fact that my home now looks like a completely different place I would have never known they were there. The Paint One team did a tremendous job tackling the high ceilings and the custom paint job I had planned for my home. I thought that these two factors would be a deterrent or make it difficult in hiring someone of quality to do the work but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Their approach to that portion of the job was a reflection on the work they did in the rest of my home; extremely professional and thorough and I couldn’t be happier. Pedro and team were also able to accommodate my busy schedule and start work the day after the contract was signed, impressive. They performed the work on schedule, on budget and left me feeling like I had a brand new home. I’ll welcome them into my home in the future and encourage you and others to do the same.
