From start to finish working with Paint One was an excellent experience. We first contacted them by email and received a prompt response to arrange a date and time for an estimate. Pedro arrived for the estimate on time and was extremely professional. After the walk through he provided a folder containing insurance and other helpful information. The estimate arrived by email as promised and covered everything we discussed. The price was competitive with other estimates we received. After accepting the proposal we were told that work would begin in about three weeks. Well, they actually began work earlier than that! The crew arrived and immediately got to work. The entire job was finished in about 3 1/2 days, with the crews working long hours each day. The painting was done neatly and the area was cleaned up before they left each day. Again, from start to finish, working with Paint One was an excellent experience.

Looked up ratings on angies list and thought that this would be a good company to get an estimate from. folled instructions, sent the e-mail and never heard back. things must be too good in thew painting business.

The crew always came on time, were polite and very professional. They worked over 10 hours each day, and did excellent work - from the pressure washing, sanding, priming and the painting of the outside of my house. They even washed the windows when they were done! I will definitely use them again for any painting needed - and I give them my highest recommendation!!!

Overall, the work equaled the estimate exactly and the finished product was great! No issues and no delays!

They were very responsive, let me know when the schedule needed to change, were mostly self-starting but checked in with us about important questions.

Experience went was wonderful. Pedro was very quick to respond to our needs and had the crew out here quicker than we had planned. His crew was very effeicient and worked from 8am till dusk most days. There were a few pieces of rotting boards that needed to be replaced and they were able to be fixed easily by his crew. They were very patient and understanding, even when we decided to change the interior ceiling stain to a multi color paint and stain at almost the last minute. They were also very quick to respond to a follow up call for a request for another coat of stain on the deck. Great company! I would recommend them to anyone any day!

The weather was the only hitch, although they tried to wait out some rain. A day delay in starting, but proceeded without further problems to finish.

We contacted Paint 1 for an estimate. Our call was answered promptly and within a couple of days Clate Holstin arrived to give us an estimate. He was thorough and knowledgable about all aspects of our job, aswered our many questions, offered suggestions and made us feel confident about the company. Within a couple of days we received an email estimate. Pedro, the owner, called a couple of days later and asked if we had any questions. We were getting other estimates so we told him we would be in touch. We selected Paint 1 over the other estimates because they hand painted everything, used top quality Gliden paint, and offered a 5 year warranty. Once we signed the contract Clate and his 3 man crew were on the job the next week. They arrived at 8 a.m. on Monday morning and completed the job at 4 p.m Friday. They worked quickly and neatly every day and cleaned up at the completion of each day. All seams, cracks and holes were caulked, and on our shed there were many. They repaired some decking boards, corrected a leaky gutter and even cleaned and painted my porch furniture. Clate always had time to answer our many questions and was always pleasant even when I kept reminding him of things he remembered. All his crew worked very hard and always had a smile even though I know they were tired. Overall it was a wonderful experience. We are going to do some remodeling in our kitchen and we would definitly use Clate and his crew for the painting.

They took 2 days to complete the job, which included pressure washing and staining our large deck. They were extremely meticulous, fast and reliable. I will use them again.

These guys were very professional, did not use sprayer, all brush painting. They covered the windows with plastic as they worked, and removed the plastic every night. The painters were very polite and tried to stay as unobtrusive as possible. They even removed the downspouts to paint beneath them instead of just poking the brush underneath.

We are very pleased with Paint One who just completed staining our new deck. The challenge was matching the color of the existing deck and the new deck which now includes a privacy screen, pergola, & swing. They came out several times beforehand to discuss & made sure I was aware that matching the old & new would be difficult. The job they did turned out great. We also used them several months ago to stain the exterior of our house & guest house & paint several interior rooms. They were extremely professional and just a great group of people to work with. Plus their pricing was significantly less than others we received. I highly recommend them.

Paint One did an excellent job. They were very professional, competent, and trustworthy, from estimate through job completion. I was very pleased with the competence and professionalism of their entire staff, as well as with the work they performed. Their work is guaranteed for five years and I trust that if we ever have a problem, they will come back and fix it. However, I believe their work was top-notch and I do not expect any problems. The workmen who did the carpentry and painting were extremely dedicated. They worked hard every second of the day, using every hour of daylight and seemingly never taking breaks. They stayed at the house long hours and cleaned up completely at the end of every day. They were pleasant and professional. Also, the attention to detail was amazing. The foreman pointed out some minor problems to me at the end of the job and had the workmen fix them before they left. They made sure I was completely satisfied with their work before leaving. Paint One was not the lowest or the highest estimate I received, but I could not be happier with the choice to hire them.

Superb Work! In 65 years, I?ve never known workers in any field to work as hard, as diligently and as professionally as Thomas? crew with Paint One did when we had our large stucco home and garage painted, including the stucco, cement balustrades and all trim, windows, etc. The crew paid scrupulous attention to preparation work and went over and above what we ever expected. They did an excellent job of repairing and rebuilding parts of the cement balustrade, scraped, patched and sanded areas of the stucco house and garage, meticulously applied caulking where needed, even washed all the storm windows and outside windows! For almost 3 weeks, we had 3 (and some days 4) hardworking and experienced men at our house for 12 hours, including working on Saturdays!! Two days they worked for 14 hours! They were pleasant, respectful, knowledgeable and neat. From our first contact with Clate who prepared the estimate to the finished work, we couldn?t be happier. Pedro, the company?s CEO drove up from Charlotte to do the final inspection. The job was $15,000, and I would recommend this company unequivocally. I would be glad to talk to anyone wanting a reference.

The project was done over a couple days, due to weather complications. However, we couldn’t be happier with their services! The deck turned out beautifully! The crew worked hard to finish the project efficiently and at a reasonable rate. I appreciated the discounts as well!

Clate, the company estimator came by and took detailed information from me as to exactly what I wanted and expected. He is a very experienced professional. I got estimates from 3 highly rated companies on Angies List. All 3 were within $200 of one another. I am very picky!! So, believe me when I tell you....get your estimates, then go with Paint One!! Pedro, the owner called me the next morning to let me know when they would be starting. I had a concern re:color choices. He provides a color coordinator/decorator from Sherwin Williams at no charge to his customers! Amy came over and what a delight!! She has an amazing eye for color, hue, shade, coordination etc. Together we picked out terrific colors which I would not have thought of myself. The 3 painters came every morning by 8:30am and worked until 7pm. They are not just good, but PERFECT. They are detail oriented, neat, quiet and professional. Their work was so impressive, we added on other rooms half way through the project! We will never use anyone but Paint One and cannot recommend them highly enough! Pedro came by every day to check the work and be sure that we were pleased. Believe me, these people are "gems"...!!

This job went great. And it was a big job. Paint One's team did an outstanding job from initial quote to follow-up details. They worked hard for a solid 4-5 days and always paid attention to details...and no matter what our request, even some things not included in the quote, the answer was 'Yes' or it had already been taken care of. All windows were washed and gutters cleaned at the end of the job. Clate (the sales rep) came by for a walk-through three days into the process and Pedro himself came by for a final thumbs-up walk-through before the job was signed off on and the check was cut.

Five painters worked non-stop, including the weekend to get the job done before we moved in. Prep was thorough and finished job was perfect. Very responsive to last minute changes or additions.

From start to finish, our experience mirrored other satisfied customers. A representative came to the house to view areas to be tackled, discussed what would be needed and made suggestions as to approaches; they showed up when they said they would, every time; the crew of three was polite, clean and friendly while going about their work with care. They taped and draped plastic to protect wood floors, repaired the plaster walls after the wallpaper was stripped; and painted all surfaces as agreed. When I realized I had made a mistake as to the sheen of ceiling paint, Pedro, when I called him, said "no problem" and told the crew chief to get another can of same color for ceiling but in flat instead of egg shell (so glad I realized that mistake so early). They were cheerful when I asked for some extra sanding here and there on the closet door edges - new wood surfaces, and didn't seem to mind the re-paint. Even better, Maolo was patient while I debated and fretted over the tinted sealer color for the exterior wood work, even to the point of going back to the store to get a can of clear sealer so I could see the difference, and never looked unhappy about having to humor me. Pedro and his crew always emphasized their motto of making the customer happy and satisfied with the results. And, we were. We plan to have them do more as our funds are available. They did a professional job as agreed, for price agreed and kept checking as the job progressed to be sure it was what we wanted. Definitely deserving of their A status. And, did I mention that I am picky, but am still writing this good report? Good work Paint One!

Pedro Pedreira was personally involved in scheduling (which involved rescheduling due to late-breaking conflicts on our side) and servicing on the above work along with one employee. As with our original experience with Paint One, Pedro and his team were extremely courteous, professional, and skilled in completing the work -- and as indicated performed all of this effort (including significant interior work which was never part of their original painting) at no charge! This exemplary customer service will lead us to not hesitate to call on Paint One again for our painting needs, and to recommend to anyone seeking quality work with dependable service at a fair price.

We could not be more pleased with Paint One. The on-site review of the scope of the work was immediate and the two men answered the questions I had at the time as well as others I had after I saw the estimate. After I contracted Paint One, they provided a time frame which they lived up to exactly -- they started when they said they would and finished in one week, right on forecast, as that week we had no rain. The crew was extremely hard-working, courteous and respectful, working from around 7 AM to 5 or 6 PM every day, including Saturday and Sunday. They left the yard clean each day, and the quality of the work is very good. The house has never looked better.

When we called to get an estimate Clate came out the next day. We felt like he wasn't really interested in this job and maybe because it was a small job. He didn't really measure or get into any details on what we wanted done. This was approx. 1:00pm and said he would have estimate to us later that afternoon by email. We called his cell phone at 8:00pm and left message asking about estimate and if he had sent email. We did not receive call back but got the estimate about 9:00pm. The estimate was double our other estimates and that was after he gave a 25% discount for Angie's List. Again, we feel this was not a job they may have wanted to do since it was a small job.

They were prompt each of the three days it took to finish the job. The workers were all very competent, courteous and professional as they went about their jobs. They were also very careful of all of the furniture and property inside the home. They covered every piece of furniture, every floor and everything thing that was not going to be painted. They checked every surface to be painted and repaired any prior damage,marks and holes. They even repair any area where nails or screws pushed out into the wall boards. Each wall painted recieved two coats of high quality paint. Even though the ceilings were not painted they repaired an area where a light had to be moved on the dining room ceiling. Throughout the three days needed to do the job they worked hard, were very professional and answered all questions. When they were finished they carefully moved the furniture back into place. They were very courteous at all times, in fact were barely knew they were here most of the time. After the work was done the owner checked out the completed job and the final cost was just as he had bid. Paint One is obviously a very professional company from the top down.
