I can’t say enough about this company! I’ve used them twice now, once for a plumbing and gas installation and again for more appliance installation. Mr. Edward was prompt, professional, knew what they were doing and made me feel comfortable and confident in their work if I knew this company before I would had done my entire kitchen renewal that how amazing they are. I highly recommend this company, Mr. Ed and his team for any job, nothing to big to tackle you won’t be disappointed. ~A. S.

My husband and I would highly recommend ELM Contractors. Recently used their services for a second time to create and install large decorative window moldings (first time in a kitchen bay window and second time in living room). Not only did the project turn out better than expected but ahead of schedule and right at discussed budget/quote. While this was admittedly a small project compared to most, the job was handled (both times) with the same detail and respect to our schedules. Our painter even commented at the quality of craftsmanship. If you are the discriminate homeowner who wants a project done right the first time - large or small - ELM would certainly be on your list.

He was awesome and made the repair under and hour!
Description of Work: We had American Home Shield technician come out to make a repair on Jun 30, 2017. He failed to find the problem the first time he came and that required us to make a recall on the very same day! He came out a second time and although he diagnose the problem he told us we needed to provide access through the ceiling downstairs in order for him to do the repair. We called our builder/contractor who came out and said in no uncertain terms we could not go thru the ceiling. We had the access panel enlarged in the master bathroom "commode room". When he finally came out to do the repair for the third time, after he came in, looked up and saw there wasn't a hole in the family room ceiling he asked "Where's the hole?". Whe he went upstairs and looked in the commode room he said "You needed to put the access thru the ceiling in the family room downstairs." We told him that wasn't possible and he agrued that was the only way to make this repair. We authorized him to remove the motorupon which he stated after trying, "The nuts are on too tight. You should have put a hole in the ceiling"...We finally got AHS to allow us to with an outside vendor since they didn't have another vendor that works on whirlpool tubs. We looked on Angies list and got ELM Contractors. Ed McClelan took my call and came the NEXT day because he felt we had been at this problem for 2 months! He came out, diagnosed and repaired the problem in ONE HOUR! (I had purchased the part based on the assistance with the technician at Jacuzzi). He had to "think outside the box" in order to make the repair...he used a fish tape! That way he didn't need to remove the motor or squeeze into the small area inside where the access was. He was awesome...professional and forward thinking! I would use him for any of our plumbing, electrical or repair needs for our home! I will reccomend him to anyone who needs any reapirs done to their home!

Let me start by stating this was the 2nd time using ELM...the first project resulted in a beautiful, modern 1st floor and the 2nd project was even more spectacular...we now have a home that could be displayed in any magazine. I was somewhat skeptical of the last project because 2 walls had to be eliminated to completely open up the 2nd floor area and my "vision" of this project was somewhat unclear. Thankfully the guys from ELM had a vision that was right on the money...the results were fabulous. We now have an ultra modern 2nd floor with a true chef's kitchen,as well as an openness that makes everything look larger and more modern. The cost was reasonable, compared to other estimates...the attention to detail was ever present...the overall quality of work was flawless. I highly recommend ELM...you will never get a bigger bang for your buck!!!

From the first meeting to the projects completion ELM were professional, highly competent, and fair on all accounts. Angie's highest grade is an "A" , but I would grade their body of work as "A+"...for example, we chose floor tile for 3 joining rooms...the seams from room to room are laser perfect, no small feat! There was never a question of "showing up" to work and cleaning up at the end was always immaculate. We now have a first floor that is exceptionally modern and beautiful...fit for display in any magazine. Do yourself a favor, and at the very least, consult with ELM on your next project!
Description of Work: The October flood destroyed our entire 1st floor...nearly 40 inches of water! The result was an entire remodeling project...from sheetrock to floors and everything in between. In retrospect the only "blessing" was finding ELM Contractors...these guys are the very best!!!

This was part of a much larger job that we had done to our entire house. The original bid for the kitchen part of the job was much higher than we'd budgeted, so our contractor reached out to ELM, with whom he'd worked in the past and knew to be very reasonable. Normally, I'd equate lower price with lower quality, but this was not the case with Ed and his team. They showed up on time, walked the space and made great recommendations. Ed's very good about listening to your ideas and then, if you ask him, telling you why a certain color might not work with everything else you have. Their workmanship was great. They left the site clean every day. They're very good at working on the fly -- during the project, we realized that we needed a little extra closet space here and counter space there, and they came up with some very creative and cost-effective solutions. They understood our budget and did a great job keeping right on the mark. They let us know -- in advance -- if one of our new ideas would cost extra and, if so, how much. Most important, it was clear that these guys are proud of their work. That means a lot, when you're working on the most important room in the house. Great job -- we're very satisfied.
Description of Work: Totally new kitchen: new peninsula, granite countertops, new cabinets (including a little "on-the-fly" custom work), mosaic tile backsplash, sink and fixtures, etc.

, The results are simply fabulous !! Before, I had a very nice, but ordinary, kitchen. Today, I feel that I have a complete custom kitchen--I couldn't be more pleased. The two gentlemen doing the work were absolutely delightful and enjoyable to have in my home. Every day when work stopped for the day, they swept the floors and cleaned up so that I wasn't faced with a "mess" after they left. They arrived when promised and put in a very full day's work. They also offered excellent suggestions throughout the process to assist in my decision-making. For example, the housing for the chandelier was their design, and the pendant lights over the bar was their suggestion. Both add so very much to the final result ! I simply cannot recommend these contractors too highly.
Description of Work: Replaced all kitchen cabinets and counter tops. Add backsplash tile on both sides of kitchen; installed new sink, faucet and garbage disposal; removed existing wallpaper and painted those walls in a rough, "Tuscany" finish; designed and installed a wooden frame (matched to cabinets) to hold a ceiling chandelier; hung three pendant lights and the chandelier.
