. I had a gate fence that needed to be repaired because another company that put my gate up last will not return my phone call. I called Charleston Creative Fences and Greg showed up the next day and took repaired the gate to my fence. He finished it quickly and did an excellent job! I wish I knew about Charleston Creative Fences last year.

Greg did an excellent job throughout the entire process! His customer service from the beginning was better than any I have seen! His price was about 2 times more than the other proposals I had, but it was well worth it! My fence is gorgeous and a work of art! Greg did a great job of keeping me informed throughout the entire process and made sure he built exactly what I wanted! 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone!

We've been wanting a fence since we moved into our new home almost 2 years ago. Initially, our HOA was not approving horizontal fences, and we were dead set on it being horizontal or nothing. Time brought about a change and horizontal fences were beginning to appear in the community. This was our chance! We drove around to different communities looking at other people's fences that we might like, hoping to see a placard on the fence from the builder. We didn't find any like what we'd envisioned for our home. I found Greg through Angie's list and had an appointment scheduled for an estimate by the end of the week. He specialized in horizontal fence builds (which is a bit rare in this area). The day of our meeting he arrived and spent easily over an hour talking with us about what we wanted, showing us photos of current and past projects and taking measurements to build us an estimate. We decided on a 6 foot horizontal shadow box privacy fence for the back yard and 4 foot horizontal single side for the front. Greg does things that other fence builders do not. The standard materials are top quality and durable as he uses deck boards and screws when building his fences. We'd gotten other estimates from other local fencing companies that use only the standard fencing material and nails. Additionally, the top of the fence is 100% level and does not follow the grade of the earth. It's a very striking look and Greg goes out of his way to make sure it's perfectly flat. My wife and I are very design oriented, so this was important that everything be straight, square and flat. Greg delivered in spades. The fence is expensive, I'm not going to lie, to the extent we had to decide to build the fence in stages due to our budget constraints, but it is a substantial fence, more like a wall (7 inches thick in some places) and totally worth it. Greg was able to come up with a design that fit our budget. IT. LOOKS. AMAZING. Greg and D worked diligently for 3 days to complete the fence, often working in the rain and working past dark in order to get to a good stopping place or to finish it up. Amazing work ethic. We couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. I only wish I could add pictures to this review to illustrate the quality fence we ended up with. Ask Greg to see it when you call him. He has many great photos. We will definitely be hiring Charleston Creative Fences+ again to complete the front portion of the fence in the near future.

The fence structure is beautiful ❤️ it has been made with care, precision, experience, and efficiency. They have been very welcoming, kind and encourage us to be apart of the project by putting our ideas as well as there ideas. Communication was awesome with them. They are fun to be around 😊. We look forward to having more of our future projects done with them.

Good. There were issues with retainer walls in the driveway as well. Greg and his crew used existing materials alongside new construction to repair both retainer wall and driveway aesthetics and adding in a shadowbox fence.

Greg and crew exceeded my expectations building a fence which should last decades and withstand major winds. They did it right and it came out beautiful. Since then I have hired them for other projects including repairing my deck and building a potting table. All to great satisfaction.

It was very important to me to find a reliable, trustworthy fence contractor in Charleston. In my search I spoke with and received quotes from multiple contractors that ran the gamut in terms of price. Initially I was hesitant to hire Greg/Charleston Creative Fences because his price was on the higher end of the spectrum. However, he impressed me with his detailed inspection of my yard and existing fence during the estimate. He pointed out possible problems and ideas for a new fence and was generally much, much more thorough than any other contractor in understanding what I was looking for. He also followed up quickly afterwards and was very responsive, which is important to me. He even showed me samples of the thick decking wood that would be used in the fence. Now that the fence is completed, I am so glad I went with Charleston Creative Fences, and the final product is even better than what I was hoping for. My yard is basically transformed! I literally have people walk by my house and comment on the new fence on a regular basis. I can clearly see that the fence is extremely well made when compared to other fences I see in the neighborhood. Greg and his crew were also extremely friendly, courteous and professional, and explained all steps of their work to me, showing me everything they were doing as they went along. I really appreciated that. They also completed daily yard clean up so the yard was in great shape when they were done. They completed the fence in about 4 days which including cutting all boards individually, making sure every post was level and everything was perfect and precise, and building a huge, custom 10 foot wide gate. They worked hard! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, especially if you are looking for something better than the run-of-the-mill fence you see everywhere in Charleston. Most importantly, Greg and his team were trustworthy guys that made me confident I had made the right choice.

Charleston Creative Fence did an awesome job creating our custom fence for our back yard. The fence is extremely well made compared to most fences you see. It’s honestly more of a wall. Greg and his crew were very professional, courteous, and hard working! They completed the fence on time in about 3 1/2 days, with cutting each individual board and post to fit so that it is sturdy and level. They also cleaned up at the end of every day. They chatted with our neighbors to let them know what they were up to and even picked up some of their leftover moving materials for them. At first, we were hesitant about the fence project because we couldn’t visualize the end product, but it was well worth it. Greg builds very sturdy doors, and they go great with the custom wire “windows” we had them put in. We’re going to grow flowering vines throughout as an accent. We also sectioned off an area to create a subtle storage area for yard tools. Love the project, would hire again. You can trust Charleston Creative Fences will give you the fence you are looking for, and it will last a very long time because it’s made of such high quality wood

We couldn’t be more delighted with our new fence that was installed by Charleston Creative Fences. Greg responded very quickly to our initial request for an estimate. He came out and measured for the replacement of our existing fence and spent time with me explaining my fence options and providing me with pictures of his previous work. We obtained estimates from several contractors and he was the only one that did this. I did not feel pressured during this process. After we agreed on the type of fence and the price, he was able to start work within a couple of days. He removed our existing fence, hauled it away, and began installing the new fence.
