I have been using them for eight years.

They are always top of the line.

I didn't think compressor was bad so I called another company for a second opinion. All they needed to do was make a minor adjustment and everything works great. ARS was very dishonest. They never even checked air handler

I don't know what's going on with ARS and my condo. They came highly recommended, but I have not had a good experience with the install of my new HVAC system. They installed a new system a few weeks ago during that cold snap. I was at the house in the morning, and my mother was a saint and stayed in the afternoon so I could go to a work meeting. When I got home that night around 10pm, it was over 90 degrees in my house, and the AC would never come on. I called in the morning, they sent a guy out, and it turned out they had not replaced the zone board with one that was compatible with the new system. We set up a day to get that replaced. The same installers came out, replaced the zone board. Everything seemed fine until I looked at the menu selections on my thermostat, and realized that I was missing the option to control the dehumidifier setting. I went home, called ARS, and spent far too long on the phone before they understood that I did know how to operate the thermostat, but the options I was supposed to have were not there. Another appointment was set. I'm here now, on the third "fix" of my install, and just learned that not only was the wrong zone board installed, something wasn't welded correctly and there's an oil leak in my attic. I have missed so much work for this, and my patience is almost gone. I have to honestly say that I cannot recommend ARS Rescue Rooter. I rated low on professionalism because, while everyone who has been to my house has been very professional in their comportment and appearance, the work has not been done correctly, not even once.

He wanted to charge a high amount to fix a drippy faucet; he overcharged us by a lot. We had to call another plumber to ultimately fix the drip. He also tried to charge about $300-$350 to stop our toilet from running, so we didn't have him do that work.

The inspection was very thorough. I thought all our plumbing was working pretty well, but it had been a couple of years since the water heater was installed, so I figured it would be good to get it flushed. I didn't expect to find much else. The water heater flush went smoothly, as I expected, but the technician did notice that the pressure tank on top of the heater had developed a small leak. He then checked the kitchen sink, where he tightened the connection on the sprayer to keep it from leaking, and the bathrooms, where he discovered that the fill valve in on toilet was sticking and the floor seal on a second one wasn't secure. He had the parts for all the repairs on his truck, so I asked him to do the heater pressure tank and the floor seal. (I can replace a fill valve myself, so I didn't need to pay someone the labor charge to do that.) That was fine with him, and he fixed both the pressure tank and the toilet seal very quickly. Because of the tile on the bathroom floor, he had to use a more expensive seal than he first quoted, but he checked with me first and explained the reason for the additional cost.

Unit was not operating properly, freezing up inside and outside. Called ARS 5/21/15, they inspected the unit and determined due to the age and condition of the unit the best course of action would be replace the entire unit. I agreed and they had a crew out the next day. The removal and installation went great and completed in one day. They had a very professional, well trained two man crew that certainly knew their trade.

Air Conditioning broke and instead of repairing a 12 year old system I replaced the system. They gave me several options as to replacement systems and offered 2 year no interest financing through Home Depot. They showed up for the repair the next day after the system broke. When I decided to replace the whole system, they had the new system installed the very next day. Very fast, very professional. System replacement came with 10 year warranty and free preventive maintenance for one year. One really minor complaint, when they installed the system, the air filters they put in were the cheapest filters you could possibly buy. Don't know why they even bothered to install them since they were so cheap they would not trap and contaminants in the air. Figured I just spent $5000 on a new system they would at least put in decent filters. Update: ARS read my post and saw I was not happy with the filters that came with the system. They called immediately to offer to replace the filters. I had already replaced them so I did not take the offer but I was impressed with their response.

They quoted us $8400. After a second opinion, we were quoted $5500 for the same system, but different brand (still a name brand though). Won't use them again. Extremely over priced.

They did the job quickly. He wore shoe pads. The job was well done. They called to tell me they were coming with an accurate time. I would give them an A+ . I've used them before.

Everything went very well!!

It was good. They fixed a lock in my bathroom and checked the lines for the hot and cold. They were helpful.

I took the deal and met the gentleman to look at the work and get an estimate. No problem there. He told me that someone would call me back in a day or two to schedule the work. Well, I am still waiting. So, what did I get for my $100.00. Nothing. No one ever called. Did I try to call them. Nope. I have a company to run and I just forgot about it. Figured, well, even Angie’s list makes a mistake every once in a while. So, would I use ARS again? Hard to say since I never really had them do any work to judge them by other than they do not follow up. So the answer is no I would not use them nor recommend them. All I did is waste $100 and an hour and a half of my time from work.

It was okay. When they messed with the toilet, they made it worse. The toilet was running before he came and it was running even more afterwards.

I had them install a faucet and it took less than an hour to do with one plumber. It was a great experience.

It was good and not good – ultimately, it was okay. It happened during a cold snap so scheduling was tricky. They did the work in the end and we don’t have any complaints against them. We were happy with the job they did and they were friendly.

They put in a new washer system in the kitchen sink. They charged me an additional $70, which I feel is very overpriced. It only took them about 15-20 minutes for the one plumber to do the work.

Now, we have the lowest electric bills we've ever had in this home. They put in a 2-stage Reem system and we rarely hear it because it runs on low. We will never discontinue our maintenance contract with them. We pay them annually for them to do the regular mainenance - Fall & spring inspections and advise us on any potential issues. We feel that they do a fantastic job for us. I can't say enough good things about them.

They came out and gave me an estimate for an astronomical price. They said that they’d given me a deal because they weren’t charging me for the service call, but I’d already paid the deal price. Also, what they told me was wrong, it wasn’t wrong. I had another plumber come out and fix the toilet for less than what ARS was going to charge & less than the original deal price.

The experience was just okay. I had them work at my other house.

It was good. We had some roots growing into the pipe. It took less than a day for them to fix the problem.

The provider was supposed to check the plumbing of sinks and toilets. However, the plumber came out and checked the sink and found an issue. He was aggravated as it was late in the evening when he came out (a long day I suppose.) He tried to fix the issue, and then left. He did not fix it for long term, as I had to get it repaired further later and was told the issue was very poorly patched. Further, he did not check any of the toilets or other items covered in the coupon I bought. The biggest issue I had was he asked if he could come out the next day, or was it "So critical" that he needed to come out tonight, as he asked me. That is POOR customer service, and I will never recommend ARS after that experience.

I received a phone call at 4:15 saying the plumber on call was running late on a job and would be not be there until 6, the message stated that if it was a problem, we could re schedule. I called back and let the phone ring for 5 minutes, no answer. They were a no show at 6, at 6:30, I contacted ARS and was told that plumber would call me back. About 20 minutes later, the plumber did call back saying he was on a job in a hotel and it was going to be at least another two hours there and he probably could not make it out tonight. He asked me if I was told it was re scheduled. I did not want to change the appointment, I re arranged my day to be here on time. I went with ARS, a well recognized company because we are new to the area. When they gave me the appointment this morning, I stopped checking with other companies, companies that would actually show up when promised. So we continue to have water leaks and I get to start the whole process over tomorrow. Needless to say, my opinion is that ARS is broken.

We used the teaser service call and one hour of work then paid for additional machine sewer line cleaning. Went well.
