Description of Work: Tech cleaned units and informed me one need to be replaced other was good. Wife say she was hearing a noise from the good unit and when I checked it the unit was cycling on and off. Cleaned both units, then checked them after cleaning and informed me one need approx a thousand dollars of freon. why clean before checking.

+ -1 moreJackson Heat and Air have become the only company I call. I have used them four time now. They are a family business very punctual fairly priced, and highly qualified. The only criticism I have is the owner's son was my service tech. He was about 23 years old and wore casual clothing instead of a company uniform. This may make some people uncomfortable. I had two unusual problems created by my contractor in addition to needing service. The service person took the time to find the crack drain tray under the AC Coils inside my house. And a misfired fan in the heat unit in my attic.
Description of Work: Jackson heat & air have become the only company I call. I have used them four time now. They are a family business, very punctual, fairly priced, and highly qualified. Because it is a family business the professionalism is

+ -1 moreI have used them probably five times over the past five years for different things that were broken. It's a family-owned business. They always do what they say they're going to do. That's important. I would recommend them highly to anybody.

+ -1 moreFrom the time that Mr Jackson showed up, he was very proffesional. He checked my air conditioning unit out completely and informed me that the compressor was shot. He then went into the basement to check out the condensor. He asked me if the unit had run excessively and if I had condinsation on the windows. I did. He informed me that the Condensor unit was incorrectly sized for the unit that had failed. He explained that his estimate would include a larger unit that I had, and that he would have to replace the condensor unit for the system to work properly. I left my back door open so he could come during the day. They came, installed the unit and cleaned everything up. Honest, hardworking, trustworthy company.
Description of Work: My Air conditioner compressor failed. I had two companies that did not even show up for their planned estimated. Mr Jackson's estimate was not the lowest. He explained to me that Jackson heating and Air would be installing a larger unit that what I had. He also explained they would replace the condesor to accomidate the size of unit I had. I had the wrong size condesor for the unit that failed. I had used them for a unit at the house I used to own. I used a lower priced contractor to install the furnace in my new house because Jackson's was slightly higher. I have had to have Jackson come out and correct the problems with the furnace do to poor installation on the other contractors part. Honest hard working people.
