"George did a wonderful job. We had another person that was to clean and refinish our floors and left us in a really bad mess. I found George here on Angies' List and called him. He came out and thoroughly inspected our floor while we explained what happened with the other guy. He agreed to do our floor at the same price the other man was going to charge me and I am extremely pleased with the way it turned out. He was here when he said he would be. Very friendly and polite. I am so glad that we found him and he was nice enough to help us out of the mess we were in."

"When a weak place in my floor began to get worse I reached out to Angie's list to find a carpenter. I got a call from Andy almost immediately. Let me say he was truly a God send. Upon inspection he discovered I had multiple damaged joists. They were set to start the work less than 2 weeks later. Upon opening my floor, he discovered I had a much worse problem with the support to my house. Andy reassured me that he and his crew would do everything they could to save my house and get the work done in a timely fashion. Within 2 days I was back in my home!!! What was a bad situation was made bearable with Andy's kindness, compassion, honesty, and communication. I love my new floors!! They brighten up my house so much. "Chad S from Lee's Painting came to our house after he reached out to us from Angi's list. He came up a two different quotes..for outside painting and caulking around the chimney $700..then he said he would sand and revarnish our inside ceiling for a total of around $2000. We agreed. He then told us he needed cash of $200 to purchase supplies..he followed us to our bank and even went inside, where we handed him $200 cash. He was supposed to return the following day but did not, instead, we received a call from him saying he was at Home Depot and needed more supplies than he thought and requested that we give Home Depot our credit card number to cover the additional supplies...our credit card was charged $155.24 on 2/6/25. He simply never came back to our home. He contacted us twice saying he couldn't come because of "daughter" issues, then another time due to problems at home. After he never showed up we asked for our money back, he texted me asking for my Venmo and said he would repay but never did. We have made several attempts to contact him but he will not respond, either by phone or text. Finally, just this morning 3/5/25 he answered his phone (I think because he did not know it was us)..we told him we wanted our money back..he just hung up! I now believe he is a scammer..it sure feels that way."
