We had some old faucets. They came and put in new ones in about 5 sinks downstairs. It was around $670 for the cost of the various parts and the installation. There's only two of them in town and for the 30 years we've been here, we have used them off and on. They installed our heater and they'll be the ones to probably do the tankless. He is going to give me a quote on that.

The workers were very polite and worked quickly despite not having all of the information about what was to be done that morning. However, I noticed later that I was billed for 3.5 hours of service and they were only there for 2 hours. If that included them leaving to go and retrieve materials then I feel I should not have been charged for the time it took for them to go back to their office. When I called the previous week and asked them to come out I specifically stated that I wanted 2 shut off valves installed in the bathroom and a water line and drain moved from one side of a wall to the other. This overcharge on time cost me an additional $135 and makes me reluctant to call them in the future to do other jobs for fear of being over billed again.The work they completed was good and they were quicker than they estimated (stated job would take 3-4 hours).

They didn’t complete the job and I didn’t like that. We had a contractor who was doing some renovations for our bathroom. The contractor asked us if we had a plumber that we wanted to use and we suggested Hazel Plumbing. So, they came in and they were working with the contractor. They did part of what they were supposed to do, but they didn’t complete the job as far as installing the tub. It was partly them and partly the contractor because the contractor finished everything that Hazel Plumbing needed to do. So, the only thing that needed to be done was the installation of the tub by the plumber. We finished paying off which we probably shouldn’t have done. The contractor suggested reducing it by a certain amount which would be for the additional work that the plumber was supposed to have done. The work that they actually did was fine. They didn’t communicate back with us even though we attempted to contact them. I don’t really know the price since it was all figured into the overall contract. The quality was fine for what they did. I don’t know if what they did was on the time line. I wouldn’t work with Hazel Plumbing again.

We could not be happier with this experience. We discovered the leak on Friday afternoon, called and left a message at 4:00, and the company called us back at about 5:00. They said they could send someone in the morning. Even though they hadn't specified a time, they called at 9:30 to apologize for running late and promised to be here within the hour. They arrived shortly after 10:00, very quickly found the problem, and left to get parts. He returned within half an hour, replaced the pipe, tested it, and we had our water back on shortly after 11:00 Saturday morning. Everyone we dealt with at Hazel Plumbing was incredibly nice and helpful, and even though this was our first time using them, they managed to work us in at the last minute over the weekend.
