I first called about prices for sod and mulch. I was told that I needed to visit the store to see the mulch before purchasing. It was a long trip for me from downtown Columbia. When I got to the store I was told that it was not the ideal season for installing sod. Fine, but there was no mention of this point during our phone conversation before I drove out to the store. I asked about installation of dormant sod and only recieved very unclear and, frankly, condescending responses. I ended up canceling my order due to the poor customer service. While leaving the store I ran into someone that I believe was the manager. I told him about the poor customer service and he did not show much concern. My take is they might be an ok place for landscaping professions, but I would suggest that homeowners steer clear.
