Description of Work: They do everything. They take care of lawn care, all our plants: they spray the regularly and fertilize them, they treat the lawn for ants and things like that.

Description of Work: They Applied fertilizer and week killer. Had 3 applications this summer/fall. Lawn improved greatly but not all weeds were killed. There was no consulting on what to do about those remaining weeds.

Description of Work: We have use "Trugreen" for our lawn service (fertilizer/weed control and pest control) for several years. The technicians who do the work are always on time and professional. My gripe with them is the only contact with the company is a robo call telling us their coming to service the lawn or a call from a rep. wanting to sell us additional services. We would like a call or a visit from some one to see if we had any concerns or questions for them without trying to sell something.

Description of Work: We contracted them for lawn service and have been pleased. They have treated our lawn twice with fertilizer and weed control, and have also aerated the lawn. It has greened up nicely and looks much better!

Description of Work: We moved into our new home in March 2015. The new sod was dormant and within 6 weeks, it was apparent it was going to need professional help to come back after a harsh winter. We contacted TruGreen because of previous experience using them. Initially, we had difficulty getting a rep to return our call, but once we did, we had a meeting to discuss our lawn issues. They are expensive (about $500 year) but they guarantee they will get you a green lawn. We have centipede grass and it is coming along, even in this dry hot weather. We are watering a lot more than usual, at their suggestion, to keep the grass from drying out. And I'm probably going to have a heart attack when I get my water bill, but at least my grass is green and growing. TruGreen has aerated the lawn to loosen up the hard soil and I believe this has helped. This service was an additional cost (about $150) but necessary and part of the contract we signed. Hopefully, by next year, our lawn will have taken root and filled in. So, if you want a nice lawn and don't want to chance screwing it up yourself and spending a lot of money on chemicals you have no experience spreading on your lawn, go with a reputable company. I am happy so far with TruGreen.

Description of Work: Mowed the lawn and were supposed to kill the weeds in the landscaping. The mowing was excellent but the weeding was only so-so.

Description of Work: I called six times for another estimate as the first one was for twice the square footage that I had. I never got another estimate. I wanted the ground loosened up and an over seeding in the back yard only. The man showed up to loosen the soil but said they didn't over seed, which I asked for on all six calls earlier. I sent him away.

Description of Work: I signed up in May for lawn fertilization and treatment which was to occur every 6 or 7 weeks. TruGreen did a treatment in May 2013 and then I heard nothing from them till I called them in August to inquire about why they had not been back. After checking they indicated I was suppose to have a treatment in July, however the the serviceman was out sick that day he was to do my lawn treatment. And somehow they never rescheduled it. They now have come again this week, but I really have no faith that they will come again in six weeks. Not a very impressive first impression

Description of Work: We have used Scott's Lawncare for more than five years with EXCELLENT results! On 7/29/2012 I had occasion to email him asking if he could rearrange his schedule and come by our house several days before his appointed time. His crew was here at 8 AM the following morning! We schedule regular lawn treatment which includes cleaning, cutting, edging, blowing and weed control.

Description of Work: A few years back we noticed a problem with dandelions and onions in our lawn,so we thought we'd give Tru Green a chance to clear this up. Was promised within a year that it would be cleared up. Continued with the service for approximately 3 years thinking this would be a good maintanence program . Good grass started dying off while weeds started thriving. The treatment people were nice enough,but when things started dying off we started contacting the regional manager numerous times with no results whatsoever. We even contacted the national headquarters(after no response on getting the regional person out) which seemed promising to begin with,but the helpful ones seemed to not last long at the headquarters and we were shuffled around to different people,then finally gave up. Miscommunication all over,none of the problem solved,and bare patches with weeds all over our 1.25 acrea lawn that used to be a really attractive lawn. We've had no communication with this company since last summer and it just makes me sick now to look out and view what we have this spring. Would love to put a sign out that says this is what Tru Green can do for you!

Description of Work: Wanted rep to come out, take a soil sample, see current problems/concerns and suggest a plan for taking care of my lawn. The person on the phone handled everything on the phone from a satellite image of my yard. Nobody came out to actually see what I had and what I expected to be done. They gave me a generic quote on the phone and asked me when they should come out. I felt like one of the crowd.

Description of Work: We have been using this firm for about five years, utilizing their services forf 12 months a year, not just during growing season. They are prompt and give excellent service! Their crews are polite, professional and respectful of our property. We only get compliments from our neighbors.

Description of Work: I hired them for fertilization, weed and pest control, an overall lawn care program. They came out in 2008 on a monthly basis. This year so far, they did an application in January, March and April. At that point I found myself dissatisfied with them.
