This is one FANTASTIC company. From the time we walked in to the store to time the last installer departed the house it was an amazingly successful experience. Tonya was the first person we met, she was extremely professional and so very knowledgeable, helping us decide the right material for our jobs. Started out with just the kitchen but, when we found out we could get this job dine for about 60% of what HD and Lowes prices, we had them do the Master Bath Vanity. Everyone we dealt with was Professional, Courteous, Attentive and very Skilled. The install was done yesterday and it is BEAUTIFUL! They made is so simple, they take care of everything and didn't nickle & dime you to death with all the add on's that HD and Lowes as well as another did. They even scheduled the plumber's and tile installers. All we had to do is sit back and watch. Thank you Tonya, Larissa, Kevin and Scott. You have a lot to be proud of!

The estimate was professional and given in a couple days.

From the moment I called the store and spoke with Tonya (Admin ***'t), to completion of job, we were thourghly satisfied. Stopped by store a few times, went home with samples....Consulted with Tonya (Pam) on several occasions. Both took their time walking us through the yard and warehouse of choices and also pointing us to less expensive remnants. Worked effortlessly with our plumbing supply store. Kevin H. Operations Mgr. met at our new home to draw up template. Placed order with Tonya and within approx 7 days we made an appt. for installation. Curtesy call was made from installer to let us know they were on the way. Shout out to: Drew, Martin and Jeremiah. Curteous, Efficient. Installation well done!!

Fast service for measuring and installing. Perfect work, no problems

The employees are very nice professional but they must think everyone is stupid. They messed up on my bar measurement because they had me extend my pony wall 3" to accommodate my new appliances . But it was obvious Steve the guy that did my first measurement did not change or add that 3". I was very specific that I wanted no seams and was told no problem there won't be none. On the day of installation they had to go back to there shop to get about another 3" piece. And no one ever checked or asked me if that was ok. Instead they tried to blow smoke saying that VENETIAN ICE only comes in 114" long as I checked with many suppliers that it comes at least 126" and longer. My original estimate also was $6435.75 which I paid the deposit of $4800 down which left a balance of '1635.25 which I paid the guy Steve $1640.00 upon completion.Then I get a call saying I still owe about $150 they tried charging me for the sink which was stated it was included in the price and it was also on the contract they wrote up another contract thank God I saved the original one I have both that's just so unprofessional. Also on the original contract it states expected completion of the work would be 1 to 3 weeks from the time of deposit. I paid the deposit on 11-4-2016 the work was not started until around 20th of December and was completed today 12-29-2016 that almost 2 months. It's really a shame because I had another house and one of my businesses I am also gonna have similar work done to this next month and I can tell you who I won't be using. LIKE I SAID THEY MUST THINK EVERYONE MUST BE STUPID WITH THERE EXCUSES AND LIES INSTEAD OF JUST BEING HONEST AND UP FRONT I WOULD HAVE APPROVED THE MISTAKE CAUSE MISTAKES HAPPEN BUT I WAS LIED TOO NOT TO MENTION I AM FRIENDS WITH ONE OF THERE EMPLOYEES WHICH HAS ALL READY CONFIRMED THE TRUTH ABOUT HOW BIG THEY GET THE GRANITE. BUT SERIOUSLY I KNOW MORE THAN THEY THINK. BUT KARMA ALWAYS CATCHES UP HONESTY REALLY GOES A LONG WAY WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE.

PERFECTLY. It is more than a year later, and I'm SO pleased with the installation & product: Caesarstone quartz, in "ocean foam", which is in the white family. Very resilient, easy to clean and durable. Also very happy with the type of faucet they suggested: the old one had the long plate at the back of the sink, because the sprayer was a separate piece. The one I got to replace it, which is the only one The Countertop Store sells- because it's the best & most reliable (and I carefully googled the reviews on it)- has the handle & sprayer attached, so it only requires a small hole in the back of the sink to install. Their recommendation was absolutely right. It works well, and the look is a lot more streamlined.

We had a 8 year old Corian countertop that had acquired several scratches throughout the years. They sent out a man and their estimate was reasonable. We had contacted two other businesses on Angie's List and their estimates was higher than the Countertop Store. They resanded the countertop and sink and looked as good as new. They did a professional job and cleaned up afterwards. They were late for their appointment, but they said they had a truck breakdown. I would definitely use them again.

Installation was fine until the joint where the countertop was put together got water on it. The seem started to swell and started to bubble up. I called the owner and he came out and looked at the problem. He told me that the problem was that we had gotten water on the countertop and he would not do anything about it. If you can't get water on your countertops in the kitchen, what good are they? I threw the owner out of my house. I would not allow this company to do anything in my house ever again, and I am in the process of getting new granite countertops in my new house. Buyer BEWARE!

I hate to have to write a bad review on a small business, but the owner has left me no choice as he is not standing behind the lack of quality in his work. I ordered Cambria Quartz Counter tops and they are beautiful. When the company came out to measure they stated they would do a standard 1 1/2" overhang. Upon installation the counter top was inconsistent with overhangs ranging from 1/2" - 2" throughout my kitchen. When I called the manager directly after the installation happened he said, no problem and that they would fix it. I went to the store with pictures showing the inconsistencies and again he said, don't worry about it we will make it right we want you to be happy. The owner (who did the original measurements) came out to review the work and stated there was no problem and that he would not replace the counter top and that it was my fault. This is a small community and I as a small business owner take pride in my work and was extremely disappointed in his reaction. To blame the customer for his wrong measurements is unacceptable. It's too bad because his employees are good people. I do not recommend this business to anyone, there are plenty other more reputable counter top places to go to that believe in customer satisfaction and want to do the right thing. I'm only giving one star because you have to.

They are local. They installed them for me about a year ago. The color suited me just fine. They threw in a double basin under counter sink for me. They were great and they were first class.

We went to the Counter Top Store and picked out our slabs of quartz to be used. Kevin who guided us through the process by coming to our house and measured and made a template of counter. Three days later two installers and a plumber came installed the counter top. The installers treated the new counter top as if they were installing in their own home. We will definitely be using them in our future projects.

The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They do everything from marble, granite, synthetic, and there were many options to choose from, and they explained the pluses and minuses of each one to us, and we went with the quartz. They were on time for their appointments for the measurements and estimates. They were neat, clean, quick, polite and answered all our questions. The installers were on time, and they cleaned as they went. We have no complaints about them.

Great service before the sale but if you need service after the sale they forget your name and forget to get back to you when promised. They came to install on one of the worst days in Myrtle Beach, a horrible ice storm. They could not finish the same day due to the weather and came back very late the next day. But at least they came back. Extremely helpful before the sale as they offered suggestions and measured the kitchen area a few times. Price was reasonable and fair and we felt comfortable moving forward with the sale. Because we had to leave for New Jersey immediately after the second day installation we did not have a chance to see the finished product up close. On March 24th we returned from New Jersey and were able to look at the finished product closely. We noticed the left side of the sink was measured correctly with a nice fit to the cabinets. But the right side had a gap between the cabinet and the backsplash showing a part of the wall. On March 25th we visited their showroom to advise them of what we saw. It was obvious that the one side was not measured correctly. When we walked in Kevin, their manager acted as if he didn't know us. Then he told us he would be able to put some coving around it and he would have his guy come over. When his guy came over and showed us what he was going to do we did not think it would look right and even his guy admitted the best thing would be to lower the cabinets and he would tell Kevin and set up a time for him to come back and do it. Not a big job according this guy. Today is April 14th and Kevin has never called and his guy never came back. So I had to call another company to fix it for me. So if you want service after the sale forget it.

This was a small job. I needed someone to install the tiles that I purchased and had intended to install myself. But after having the tiles sitting in a box for a year I realized that I was not going to get to it. The intaller from the Countertop Store was very professional and worked around my schedule. I would definitely use them again!

When we went to the shop the staff could not have been more helpful explaining the pros and cons of the different materials available to us and the cost per square foot installed. After we decided what we wanted they scheduled the appointment for the estimator. He arrived on time and answered all our questions on some changes we wanted on the configuration of the counters. The template for the new counters was done when scheduled and we received the final estimate within a day. The install was done when scheduled and the two installers were polite, worked as neatly as possible and cleaned up when they were finished. The final estimate was higher due to work that had to be done because the old counter tops were not properly installed.

The response and service was great. They were there when they said they would and did the work quickly and with high quality. The lights that were ordered were not going to work as we expected and were replaced with no additional cost or problem for us. In fact, the replacement units were of higher quality then we originally expected.

Their work was just superior, the guys were awesome. They were super to work with. We were arranging the work from another state and they were very accomodating. They did a remarkable job. The manager Kevin was just great. They were very neat and didn't leave a mess.

Everyone I dealt with was professional, courteous, and thorough. Scott and his crew did a great job. The electricians did a great job as well. When I called the office and spoke to Kevin - he was always pleasant and returned my calls promptly. I feel the price was fair for updating our kitchen, I couldn't be happier.

TCS did a beautiful job with granite countertops, very professional, prompt service, accommodating to my time/schedule. Very pleasant to work with.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND The Counter Top Store based on my experience with them. There are plenty of granite installers in the Myrtle Beach area to choose from.

We live remotely from this property as it is a beach property and we live in the mountains. We rent it out by the week in the summer. The condo is directly on the beach and some of our renters have been coming doen for over 20 years! I am always hesitant and worried when work needs to be done on the unit as it must be done between renters, and we cannot be there to oversee the work, meet the worker etc. It is an act of faith hiring anyone remotely. Our experience: 1. Amanda at the Countertop Store scheduled someone to template within my time frame. 2. She took a photo of the slab and sent it to me via email for my approval 3. The workers went to my property management office (between renters) and got a key and templated the counters. 4. Amanda gave me a quote via email within 24 hours! 5. The workers called and asked if they could access the unit again and go ahead and tear out the old tops to double check the template. This gave me great confidence! 6. I wanted to actually be there for the install date, so they scheduled the install between holidays so I could be there! December 27th! 7. Here is my ONLY COMPLAINT. The workers were to arrive at 10 am! I was so excited. They called the night before and moved it to noon. That was okay but. By 1 pm no workers! I called the office and they said they were running late, and they arrived at 2ish. I was waiting with 2 small children to eat lunch, so this put a damper on our day. However... 8. The workers were professional, courteous, and got the job done quickly! I was especially impressed with the plumber and will use him for future work! Since the kitchen was built and not upgraded since the 1980s he had to work around some older materials, pipes etc. and installed new items at no charge! The sink and faucet look great and the whole granite top fit like a dream. Here is the best part! They created the tops so that it was one giant slab! No seams! A very small seam runs near the sink and you really cannot see it. This was well templated and well cut! Bravo!! I would recommend the countertop store to anyone!
