Description of Work: Chris and his Father installed tile floors in my condo with baseboard. The preparation was performed with the highest quality and craftsmanship. + 0 moreOne of the condos had tenants and they were very pleased with the cleanup and the knowledge of the installers. The other condo was empty but the job was done to our satisfaction. We bought the tiles so the price was for installation only. We feel the price was a good price for the professional work done.
Description of Work: Two condos had tile put down. One was the hallway only. The other condo had the tile installed in the hallway,bath, and kitchen area. We were very satisfied with their work.

+ 1 moreOriginally met with Chris Warren. There was no problems at all - very professional and what he promised. Price was excellent for the job. Basically - they redid the entire house.
Description of Work: Removed carpet & tile - installed Sikkens hardwood & tile in wet areas. Had to level slab - also professional commercial vacuumist to capture the concrete dust. Nice touch - much appreciated.

I am extremely happy with the result of their work. they were very thoughtful of my needs and professional with their work. Description of Work: They were subcontracted out by Lowes. They replaced tile flooring with laminate flooring in a few rooms.

Not only did these guys actually answer the phone....the actually set a time to do an estimate....which amazingly was the next day....did the estimate at 5:00 p.m. (which is very convenient)......but....get this !!! they actually showed up on time ! These guys were on time, professional, pleasant, quick with their measuring....and e-mailed me the estimate the next day ! In the Grand Strand area....the above description is a MIRACLE on the order of the Loaves and Fishes. So far...out of the dozens of contractors that I have called to do work on my fathers condo....Surf Monkey and Four Star Plumbing and Blacks Tire and Auto Repair are the only ones to respond.....literally...no one answers their phone....and no one returns phone calls. It is incredible the total lack of professionalism in the area...perhaps "Angies List" will improve this deplorable condition.
Description of Work: They provided an estimate....actually answered the phone...and remarkably showed up when they said the would !

+ -1 moreThey were a Father and Son team that worked together and really knew what the other was doing. They were very prompt and did a great job. I would recommend them to others. When the floor started shifting, I called him directly, and he was right out to repair it.
Description of Work: He installed my hardwood flooring in 3 rooms (about 1500 square feet). The first time, the floor was defective, but that was no fault of Surf Monkey. They came back and repaired it nearly a year after the original install. I was billed through Lowe's, as materials were purchased through them and Surf Monkey was their sub subcontractor.
