Ricky came the same day and looked at the problem and called me back with several options. We chose a fiberglass over a polymer for durability and quality. He said he would be back in 2 days. He called 2 days later and said he was on his way. He was done in 2 hours. He removed the old sand filter system and put in the new one. That required some pipe reconfiguration as well. Excellent job. Very happy. Very pleasant and professional.

Absolutely wonderful! He actually showed up when we called him. This is huge plus in this area, where most repair services never show up when they tell you they would. He gave an accurate cost for his services., and best of all, kept to that cost, did not come back to say that there were other charges he " ran into". Extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable, knew what he was talking about when it came to our needs. Another plus with this company, he completed the job exactly when he said he would!! I would not hesitate in calling this gentleman and his company for all of my pool needs in the future!

He called before he came, was right on time and very professional. Ricky brought all the equipment he needed to get the job done. We had other pool companies come and "evaluate the problem, for an evaluation fee" then say they would need to send someone else out to do the pressure test. His price was the lowest of all the quotes we received for pressure testing. Over all I felt he did a wonderful job.

NEVER USE RICKY’S POOL SERVICES, MYRTLE BEACH, SC IF YOU WANT TO PROTECT YOUR FAMILY FROM SICKNESS AND INJURIES DUE TO INCOMPETENCE OF A POOL MAINTENANCE COMPANY, NEVER, EVER HIRE RICKY’S POOL SERVICE. HE ADVERTISES HE CARRIES INSURANCE, BUT WHAT HE DOESN’T DISCLOSE IS THAT THE INSURANCE ONLY COVERS HIM. IT DOES NOT COVER FAULTY WORKMANSHIP. HE WAS ALSO NOT LICENSED TO PERFORM THE WORK HE WAS HIRED TO PERFORM. IN 2011-12 HE WAS HIRED TO MAINTAIN THE CHEMICAL BALANCE OF OUR POOL WATER. – ALTHOUGH HE BILLED EVERY MONTH, INCLUDING TWO MONTHS PAST WHEN THE POOL WAS CLOSED, HE NEVER DID ANY CHEMICAL TESTING OR ADDED ANY NECESSARY CHEMICALS TO KEEP THE WATER SAFE. AT THE END OF THE SUMMER WE FOUND OUR WATER WAS NOT SUITABLE FOR HUMAN HABITATION AND WAS CONTAMINATED. RICKY SHOULD HAVE CLOSED THE POOL UNTIL THE PROBLEMS WERE FIXED. THE END RESULT WAS MY FAMILY SWAM IN THE POOL ALL SUMMER WHILE RICKY WATCHED THE POTENTIAL DAMAGE BEING DONE TO OUR BODIES DUE TO THE HIGH LEVEL OF ACIDITY. THESE FACTS HAVE BEEN DETERMINED BY THE CDC AND EPA TO BEING HIGHLY LINKED TO COLON AND RECTAL CANCER. SO FAR WE HAVE HAD TO HAVE THE POOL LINER AND LIGHT REPLACED. THE POOL HEATER WAS RUINED AND WE WAIT FOR THE SECOND SHOE TO DROP FOR ANY ADDITIONAL PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY AS A RESULT OF HIS NEGLIGENCE AND INDIFFERENCE FOR THE SAFETY OF OTHERS. HIS WIFE AND HE RUN THE BUSINESS, AND THEY LIED THE ENTIRE WAY THRU THE BBB PROCESS. DO NOT LET THIS MAN INJURE YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ANIMAL.
