Did everything promised and more using materials made for abuse. It's a summer weekly beach rental and the last painting was about 12 years ago for $2300 so current price was in line for the required work.

I first met Dan Ragan when he showed up promptly at 10 AM on a Saturday morning to give us an estimate. That alone was impressive. From beginning to end Dan was nothing but curteous, and professional. His men started the job and I knew right away this was going to be a good experience. We were not disappointed....Juan, Manuel & Magdiel hardly came up for air. Work ethic spot on. They worked well together like a fine turned machine. Arrived each morning at 8 AM and done by 5-5:30 with things neatly put away for the next day. In todays world it is difficult enough to even get someone to show up for an estimate. You will not be disappointed with Ragan Painting.....Dan does things the "Old Fashion" way with Customer Service/Satisfaction at the top of his list!

Dan and his crew did a fantastic job. We were looking for our popcorn ceilings to be removed and painted, some minor wall repairs, and painting of all walls for our whole house. We got five quotes and Dan's was the most reasonable. Dan explained everything about the process and gave us updates as they worked through the house. They worked through weekends and finished in two weeks which is how long Dan anticipated it would take. The end price was as quoted. The crew cleaned up as they moved from room to room (popcorn removal is an extremely messy process). The house looks amazing and we are so happy that we chose Dan to do the job. Dan also did one wood panel room with a pickle stain and it turned out great! We would absolutely work with Dan on future projects.

Dan, Primo, and the rest of the crew were awesome. Dan is great to work with and was very helpful throughout the entire process. They were very professional and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Dan does a great job managing the job progress and they even finished a day or two early. Primo is a perfectionist and his work is top notch. I'm really glad I hired Ragan Painting.

This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The work performed was professional and meticulous. Dan wasn't satisfied until we were satisfied. He happily came back and did some touch ups and was able to connect us with additional service providers in the area for other types of work that we are equally pleased with. We can't recommend him highly enough! If you use his services you will be very pleased. He's a real professional and a great guy! I'm not sure I could write enough great things about Dan and his team. We are moving to a new home and wanted to have the job done while it was still empty. Dan contacted us very quickly after our inquiry here on Angie's list. He was awesome enough to come out on a Saturday when he could've very well been enjoying his weekend. From the start, Dan was prompt, friendly, attentive to our needs and honest. He asked the important questions and listened to our wants and needs and was able to give us an estimate promptly. We had other estimates, which ended up being vague and included well if this and if that ... we just wanted a number for the job and Dan was able to give us the complete price, paint, labor - everything included and there were no surprises. He knew we were really wanting to have the job done before we moved in and scheduled our job to start first thing Monday morning - WOW. Dan and his crew showed up promptly on time and were all very polite and professional. We had the WHOLE house done and it only took them 4 days to complete. When they were finished, everything was cleaned up and it was like they were never there (except the paint job :) The end result was amazing, everything was 2 coats of paint - walls and trim, finished with crisp edges, smooth lines and all the holes patched., it was like a brand new home. No painting around stuff or taking shortcuts. I could go on and on with praise for Dan and his crew. It was truly a pleasure doing business with him and I would recommend him to anyone at the drop of a hat. By far the best experience with a business I've had in the area. Great Experience working with top pros and terrific people. After our original painter delayed and delayed the start of our job, we called Dan Ragan. With hours he was at our home, provided a written estimate at a great price, which we accepted, and established a start date. Dan is a real pro with about 30 years experience in Myrtle Beach area. He is also a great listener as he went through the house with my wife room by room getting her input and providing suggestions. He showed up exactly when he said he would with his team every day. They finished the whole house, 9 rooms, in 9 work days including the Great Room which has 14' ceilings. They were all great people to work with. They were courteous and respectful of our property and privacy. By they end of the job, they all felt like old friends. After the job was finished, they happily returned to fix a few small touchups items we called them about. We liked them so much, we have already engaged them to paint the exterior of our home in the fall.

Excellent. Dan and his team were very courteous, friendly, hard workers did not even take a break, work for more than 4 hours without a break. They did a beautiful job and cleaned after the work was done no trace that they've been here except for the beautiful work. We definitely hire them again and will recommend to anyone that needs a painter.

Dan is absolutely the BEST! He came out the same day for an estimate (which was the best one received by far) and went out of his way to do the job when we needed it done. He went above and beyond to make our new house perfect including doing extra touch-ups that the builder left unfinished. I can't recommend him enough. Professional work done and an all around fantastic person and crew to deal with. Thank you!!!

I needed to have interior of newly purchased home painted prior to moving in furniture. On short notice, Dan came out and gave estimate and said he would get the job done in time even if it required working evenings. Because rain kept him away from working on a current outside job, he and his crew were able to start the job the next day. They were on time, worked diligently, and professionally throughout the first day. The job was estimated to take 3 days but they accomplished so much the first day that Dan said they should be able to finish in only 2 days, which they did. They put 2 coats on all walls and trim, which was a different color than the walls and painted one room's walls a different color from the rest of the home. Dan and his crew were professional, friendly, and the results were excellent. Work was top-notch. They cleaned up everything and I was able to move in within a couple days thanks to their efforts. Eventually will be painting exterior of home and would gladly contact Dan again for that job and would recommend his company to anyone looking for professional results.

After moving to the area I was not looking forward to finding people I trusted to do painting. I was so glad I took a chance and called Dan at Ragan Painting. He came and gave me an estimate which I thought was very fair. The next week Dan and his crew came and painted the interior of a condo that my husband and I had purchased. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths living room, kitchen ceiling and all the trim. It looks wonderful. He really went the extra mile to satisfy us. I am so glad that I chose this company and highly recommend him. I already have him coming back in a few weeks to paint my cabinets.

It went very well. Dan and crew were very professional, arrived on time, kept us informed of their progress and finished as planned.

Painters showed up on time on the day they were scheduled to start and put in a full days work. Each day the work area was cleaned up and progress was reviewed. The job was scheduled to take 3 - 4 days and was completed on time.

I am posting this on my site, because my friend is not a member of Angie's List. My friend, Mabel and her husband, Pete, had been looking for someone that was trustworthy and would do a good job in their second home at Myrtle Beach. After an extensive search, they found Dan Ragan. It turns out he was exactly what they were looking for. They absolutely loved his work and plan to use him in the future when the need should arise. He was a perfect fit for them!!!!!!
