5 stars 04/05/2024 My *********** purchased a home last year. Several neighbors had a great experience with Pools and Palms and recommended them. In late Oct. 2023 we had an appt. with ******* who put us on their schedule for March 2024. They actually started even earlier, in late February, and the pool and concrete were completed by late March. *******, ***** and **** are great people who exceeded our expectations. We absolutely love our Pools and Palms pool and could not be happier with the design, installation and finished product. Everyone from beginning to completion was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable! If you contract with them you will not be disappointed

We picked Pools and Palms because they are upstanding members of the BBB and they answered all our concerns with their knowledge. They delivered on the set date and I never seen a crew work so well together! They are polite and knowledgeable! Two weeks later the pool deck was poured and my oasis has been created! Watching all this has been an amazing experience. I can't thank Pool and Palms enough for creating my paradise!

From beginning to end we could not have asked for a better company to install our pool. We met Larry and Michele at the Home Show in Myrtle Beach. The information that was given at that time was nothing more then great marketing. We made an appointment on the spot and met with the Sales team within a few days. Michele took the time to explain costs, expectations and how everything would go step by step. We were even so secure in our decision that we went to Mexico while our pool was being installed. We chose a Latham pool Bermuda and are so happy with the decision of Shale with blue glass tile. Thank you Larry, Michele, Lisa, Mike and Team....I will always recommend them over any other pool company.

We love our pool from Pools and Palms. We did our homework when we started looking for a pool company. We googled a lot and found Pools and Palms had an awesome review rating. We looked for positive comments and satisfied customers. When we went in for a consultation we were treated like royalty. We knew soon into our meeting that this was where we were getting a pool. We contracted our pool work and everything was explained step by step of the build. We were elated to have them do our pool. We received a call 6 weeks before our build date and was asked if we wanted our install sooner because of the great stretch of weather we had. We accepted the early appointment and were very happy about that. When the guys showed up on our build it was actually unbelievable. My neighbors still talk about it. The guys came in and by the end of the first day our pool was in the ground with a few feet of water on it. They placed this pool in the ground and only had to adjust the placement a small bit and it was perfect. After the second day our pool was in and filled with water. After the settling period (two weeks) the concrete came in , two day job on that. My friends were amazed by the concrete work! We were very proud of it also! Our pool came with a hot tub so it took a little longer to complete but well worth the wait! After the concrete was cured the electric came in and completed within hours. We are swimming in our beautiful pool and enjoying our hot tub also. Everything was fast and professional. Pools and Palms stayed in contact with us throughout the whole process. We had zero surprises. Our next feature will be our spray deck and we will review that when it’s completed. We would definitely recommend working with Pools and Palms for your dream pool and spa also. These guys are great.

Pools And Palms, Melissa, Larry, Michael, and the entire team did a wonderful job creating our own backyard paradise! We've wanted a pool installed for the past two years and after a bad experience with another pool company, decided to go with Pools and Palms. This company provided awesome service from start to finish. From our first meeting with the Sales/Office Staff, we knew that we had chosen the right company for our project. Melissa is very knowledgeable of all products and designs, including licensing and permits necessary for installation and safety requirements for final approval. Then we met Larry who was so impressive and realized we had the supplier we wanted to use. Everyone associated with the company prioritizes customer satisfaction. If a question or issue arose, they promptly resolved it. Our project went smoothly from beginning to end. Pools and Palms is a "PREMIER" company. We look forward to enjoying our backyard retreat for many years to come. This is a company with many long-term employees that all know their job. They arrive on time and keep you informed as work progresses.

We just had our pool installed by Pools and Palms and they did an amazing job, we absolutely recommend them! The Pools and Palms team was very helpful, informative, and professional from start to finish. They explained the process step by step from beginning to end including what was included in the price and what was extra; there were no hidden charges. Other companies that we talked to did not have all their charges broken down/ itemized like P&P did. The entire team that was on sight was professional, courteous, clean, and left our property in great condition. This company and team make you feel like part of the family which in turn shows the care they put into their work. Once again, highly recommended!

The team at Pools & Palms was very helpful from our first meeting with Melissa to Larry's visits to help us pick out the layout for our pool and Pool training after the installation was completed. When it was time to do the installation, Angie kept us up-to-date on what needed to be done and set up the appointments. They were on time and worked quickly and neatly. Everyone on their staff was very friendly and courteous. They left our property in very good shape and were very respectful with our property and did minimal damage considering the amount of digging and work that went on. After the pool installation, Michael's team came in to do the concrete. They were very professional and did a great job!

Pools and Palms installed our new Pool and Spa and did a wonderful job. We reviewed and interviewed several companies, but after talking with Pools and Palms we were confident and comfortable that they would do an excellent job, and we were not wrong, they did a fabulous job. All costs were explained up front, there were no hidden costs, and the entire process was reviewed with us and put into writing so we would have a reference. As a result, the process was very easy for us. They were very patient with us and the time they took to make sure all questions were answered, and they met our schedules, as a result everything was perfect. The project went smoother than can be expected.

Looking at the positive reviews of this business on this site just makes it harder to me to understand what happened to us. In October of 2020, we contracted with Pools & Palms to deliver and install a pool in our backyard. We live on a modest sized lot with neighbors close on both of our sides, so entry to the backyard was going to be a bit of a challenge. But, we were assured by P&P that projects like this are not a problem and if worse came to worse, we could always use a crane to deliver the pool. After about a year of waiting for P&P to get their supply chain organized and get our pool on the list for completion, it became clear that P&P were only willing to deliver our pool if our neighbor was willing to agree that equipment and the trailer carrying the pool could come across their driveway. After several discussions with the neighbor, they ultimately decided they would not allow the necessary equipment to cross their driveway. After a year and half of waiting, even though their were two other options to deliver the pool (i.e. crane it over our house or bring their equipment and the pool trailer over our driveway), P&P decided to walk away from our contract. They broke their word and on top of that, they refused to give us back all of our deposits. Without even a phone call to discuss their decision to quit on us, they unilaterally decided that they were entitled to keep $3,500 of our money even though they were the ones who walked away from the agreement and despite the agreement saying nothing about damages in case of termination. We tried to get them to refund our money but in the end, we were forced to hire an attorney. Only after getting a letter from an attorney explaining the potential damages for having breched their agreement, P&P decided to refund our money. To finish the story, we ended up hiring a different company to install our pool who was more than willing to use a crane. They used excavation equipment that didn't require any access to our neighbor's property. Unfortunately for us, the cost of a pool went up considerably since October of 2020. It is maddening that P&P became completely rigid and refused to consider alternatives when the project became harder than they had anticipated and it is deeply disturbing that they were willing to lie about technical issues (i.e. claiming the only way to deliver the pool was across my neighbor's driveway) to defend their decision to walk away from the contract. They broke their agreement and then lied to defend their actions. If you read this story and have any doubts about the facts, I can assure you that I have copies of emails or voice messages to support every statement in this review (and a picture of my new pool being delivered via crane).

GREAT FROM START TO FINISH. GOOD COMPANY OF PEOPLE THAT KEEP. YOU INFORMED AND UP TO DATE. WOULD RECOMEND TO ANYONE.

Fantastic. Larry and his team coordinated everything, including the concrete and electrical. They walk you through the process so you know what to expect and when. The crew protected and respected the property and minimized any lawn damage. We now have a beautiful oasis in our back yard. They also follow up to ensure that you know how to maintain the pool and operate the filter and heater and chemicals. I would go with no other company.

From start to finish of getting our pool, Pools and Palms were very professional. They explained every step. The owners( who were very involved) were committed to giving us our backyard paradise. Our paradise is better than expected due to Pools and Palms commitment to their customers. Cant say enough about them and our pleasant experience. We would highly recommend to anyone.

We had Pools And Palms install our Pool. We knew we had to wait for the install but after speaking with Customers that used Pools And Palms and how happy they were with their Pool Installation we decided to wait. Customers of Pools And Palms would take me to their backyard and show the quality of the Install and talk about the people who did the install. Pools & Palms put a pool in for us during the summer of 2021. I cannot speak more highly of Larry and the whole crew that did the job. From sitting down with Mel during the planning stages to working with Mike on the fencing and final electric work, it has been a great experience. My next door neighbor was so impressed with their work that he has decided to have Pools and Palms put in a pool for him! We now have the backyard oasis that I have always dreamed of. I cannot thank Pools & Palms enough!

All went great. Melissa and Mike and the whole team were easy to work with and very generous with their time. The pool turned out great. As a local business they are here to help ensure I enjoy the pool for years.

A rep finally came about 4 weeks after initial call. Said he would be back in a couple of days. Guess What?....We are still waiting.

Poor JOB! The price you agree upon will not be the price you pay. They just about charge you for extra breathing if they work hard and the upcharges are done so without authorization. Larry is exactly what he comes accross as, arrogant and cocky. He will push you the whole way to do things that make the installation easy despite what you may want. He's all about easy "in and out" get paid and move on. Customer satisfaction is not a factor nor concern in the entire process. They promise minimal damage to your property during installation and he braggs loudly about his mats to protect your lawn, etc from the equipment. Our property saw in excess of $5000.00 damage which included a destroyed slate deck and broken water lines. The unfunny thing was the water lines where marked and the first scoop from the tractor was directly on top of marked utility. AND,....you guessed it, a charge for him to repair despite the fact they where marked and it was his error. Heaven forbid you challange him for what you want he literally started yelling at my wife. After running weeks late they made the poor decision to pour the concrete on a morning when a tropical storm was coming accross FL and rain was in the forcast. As luck would have it the rain started immediately once the concrete was in. It continued for hours and was very hard at times. The concrete remained uncovered and flowed from the forms into the pool and onto the ground the entire time. We contracted Larry directly and he didnt show for 4 hours and said the fault and problem wasnt his but that of the concrete company he employs. It could be fixed for an additional fee!!! So, we have a messed up pool deck he refused to repair. Pool companies as a rule are not good however this is the bottom of the bottom. BEWARE and go elsewhere or be prepared to pay the fiddler named Larry.
