Pegram Associates, Inc. is the successor firm to the firms of Pegram Associates, PA, of Statesville, North Carolina, & Riddle & Wilkes of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Pegram Associates, PA began practice in 1959 as Adams & Pegram, Engineers/Architects in Statesville, North Carolina. That firm offered complete architectural & engineering services until 1972 when it ceased offering engineering services and became Pegram Associates, PA. That firm then continued through 1987.
This firm was organized as Riddle & Pegram Associates in 1982 as a result of the acquisition of the Myrtle Beach firm of Riddle and Wilkes by the Statesville, North Carolina firm of Pegram Associates P. A. The staff of Riddle & Wilkes was retained & one member of that staff is now a principal of this firm. Following the retirement of Harold Riddle in early 1986 this firm was reorganized to its present format as Pegram Associates, Inc. & relocated to new and expanded quarters. In 1987 the companion firm of Pegram Associates P. A. in North Carolina was closed & all work transferred to the Myrtle Beach office.
