+ -1 moremassive water damage to my home due to faulty washing machine on third floor of the home. Palmetto Development came in and dried everything out and replaced all of the damaged materials including moving my furniture around without incident.

+ -1 moreExcellent! we met with the firm we described what we wanted and our budget, they checked out our home and give us some ideas we felt very comfortable and had already checked out some of their previous work. we negotiated a fee and gave them a deposit one week later we met again to review preliminary drawings, we were amazed they were right on target. a few weeks later we met to review the final drawings (3 weeks total) We approved the drawings and signed them, I guess this means if we make changes it is an additional fee. We then contacted a few builders, some that were refered by Palmetto and our bids were pretty tight and we began our project!
Description of Work: We got a renovation to our small home designed. The architect had many great ideas we had never even thought of. We negotiated his price from $10,000 to $7,500 and he provided a very profesional set of drawings. We were expecting 2-3 drawings and he delivered 12 drawings and explained the entire construction process to us. They are also general contractors so we felt like they understood our budget and that we could not exceed it. They offerred to build it for our budget if we didnt get a bid within our budget. The principal is a single dad with two adorable little girls so late afternoon meetings were sometimes with his family as well.
