Palmetto Coast Home Inspections

Home inspection done. The inspector says the oven light doesn't work and puts it in the written report. Oven is 1 year old and when I push the oven light button, light turns on fine. Inexplicable how he could mess that one up. Also says sink drain doesn't hold water and drains slowly, but 10 minutes later, sink still has water in it so I don't know how long its supposed to hold water. Seems typical for an inspection that feels he has to find something to justify his existence, puts inaccurate information in his report, and doesn't feel the need to be accurate.

With the multitude of home inspectors along the Grand Strand, there is absolutely no reason for you to consider using this company. These folks inspected a home for me and over time, I have discovered many issues that they looked past and failed to document in their inspection report. One example is a preexisting window that was drywalled over on the inside - but completely visible from the outside of the home. Another example is failing to measure the insulation levels/thickness in the attic, and missing wallpaper that was peeling with mold behind it in the bathroom. As a Realtor-- most inspection companies will give you an image of the ruler and tell you where it should be. The report wasn’t all bad as it did include some deficiencies; however, missing things that are this big and costly to repair is astonishing to me. When I brought this up to Ryan and Sean, they claimed it wasn’t their job to find those things. Such a shame.

we were buying a house and i needed a home inspection, we contacted home adviser for a home inspection, they contacted us but never heard back from them. we WASTED a week before we could get a home inspection, that is when we called palmetto home inspection, they came and did a complete home inspection and got it back to us right away. they were professional and their knowledge was beyond expectations, Also their contractor service emailed me a message that was 6 pages long, it was an agreement for the job and a professional agreement with us about our home.
