Nova Lighting

My husband, Eddie McGee called Nova Lighting to fix a street light located in Folly Estates (so this review is his words verbatim). They sent 2 guys out. One guy got up in his lift and took all 7-8 wires off the ballast. We gave him the parts to fix it (as we knew what was wrong with it but we didn't have a lift to repair it). When he went to put it back together, he said he didn't know how to work on those as "they are older." So he suggested we allow him to change out the ballast on all our street lights and update them to LED bulbs. He left that day and was supposed to have the owner call me back the next day on replacing ballast and bulbs on all 8 street lights. The owner never called so, on the second day that passed, I called him. The owner, Rick assured me by the end of the day, he would have me a price and a time frame of when they could be replaced. A week passed and I never heard from him. I called, the lady who answered the phone said she would have Rick call me back. Another week passed, I called back again. The lady apologized and said she would have the owner, Rick call me when he returned from lunch that day. Still no call. After a month of waiting, I ordered the LED bulbs and ballasts and went to a local rental company and rented a lift and replaced them all myself on April 8, 2016. This wasn't the 1st time I had an issue with them giving me a call back to come out for a service call on street lights. After all this, they had the nerve to send me a bill for the 2 guys they sent out who tore my street light apart and didn't know how to put it back together. Also, I requested they call me an hour ahead before they show up so I could be sure to be available to show them the location and give them the parts. They didn't call until they were already in the development, looking around for which street light needed repairing.

Great! Very nice, and very professional

The tech that came to my home was very professional. He listened to the issue that I was having and got the problem fixed. It took him about an hour after crawling under my house to get this resolved. I am no longer overloading circuits. He also resolved the issue we were having in our kitchen with a dead plug. I have used this company on more than one occasion. I will not let any other company touch my electric needs other than Nova Lighting. They are professional and very reasonably priced.
