Mr Sandless

My husband was searching on the internet for hardwood floor repair/refinishing that didn't include sanding to the original finish. He found Mr. Sandless (which is a franchise ) and found Mike Healey. I attempted to remove some of the residue myself with steaming, scrubbing etc. to no avail. In fact, I had removed some of (what I thought was the original finish). It was a product that was applied after the installation of the prefinished cherry flooring. I called in December for a quote. Since I wasn't going to be in the area too long, Mike was able to schedule the estimate within of couple of days. He arrived promptly and explained the product and procedure. He too believed it was a finish that was added. Mike asked if he could do a test sample in the corner to see how well his product would work. It looked like a go. Since we weren't going to be in the area again until march, we waited to schedule. When we called, he did return our call within 2 days and set it up. The date was set for March 12th 8:00.am. He came in with his helper and got right to it after explaining again the process. We then left for errands and checked in with him by cell in case a decision needed to be made on something unforseen. They were done by 1:00pm & called us at that time. Again, we were very pleased with the result. The only thing I did ask Mike was that I would have appreciated a call the evening before to confirm. After all, it had been a few weeks since we scheduled. He agreed he should have and apologized.

Their website shows the pictures of the floors with dark stains on them and where they have completely got them out of the floor whereas the dark stains on my floors are still staying. As I’m not a floor guy and I wouldn’t have known what they can do and what they can’t but based on looking at their website’s pictures of the floors before and after, I signed an agreement with them to go ahead and finish the job and my floors don't look like that. They look the same before I paid them $700 and after. They told me that I could take them to the court if I wanted to but they were not going to do anything for me. They were very poor. I was very unhappy with them. I would never use them again in the future.
