+ -1 moreWe also had great service in the store and great pricing for our new home. The nightmare started when we tried to get the items delivered. Our home is a little off the beaten path so we were understanding of some of the delays that occurred but we are now on our SIXTH delivery attempt! Communication between the warehouse and the delivery people is non-existent. The robo call the night before delivery is a joke. Each time we have had a nasty confrontation with a driver who wants to deliver the items immediately even though we have explained a dozen times WE DONT LIVE IN THE HOUSE!! No matter how good the price is, we will NEVER buy another thing from hhgregg.

Description of Work: We are building a new home & were pricing kitchen appliances. The salesman David Serett was very knowledgeable. He was able to give us advice on different brands & models that we were looking at. When it came time to give us a package price he went on line & compared prices @ other providers as well as HH Gregg. He then gave us a quote of the lowest prices found & told us if we found it lower they would match it. They charge a 79.99 delivery fee that is credited back to the consumer in the form of either a $100.00 HH Gregg card or a $80.00 Visa card. We were able to find some of the appliances cheaper during sales. All we did was bring in the flyer or print it off a web site to get the lower price The only negative I can think of is that they charge 8% sales tax (Horry County) even though the appliances will be delivered in Georgetown county--which is 6%. We brought this to David's attention & he said the sales tax would be adjusted @ delivery. We haven't taken delivery yet so cannot comment on that.

+ -1 moreH H Greg was about $100 less than Lowes. We were very happy with the delivery and installation. They didn't track in, or make a mess. They really knew what they were doing. They were prompt and professional. I would call them again. I love Angie's List, because we have only lived here for two years.
Description of Work: We just purchased a new refrigerator from H H Gregg Appliances & Electronics. They delivered it, and hooked it up.

+ -1 moreWe felt the sales representative pushed us to buy a Whirlpool brand washer. We felt that they weren't truthful with us about the quality of the Whirlpool. We have had nothing but trouble from the washer. We bought it and haven't been able to use it because the motor blew. We wish we would have researched the Whirlpool washers before we went shopping. We would have realized how many others have had problems with this brand. We've bought many products from them because their prices are good.
