Description of Work: Excellent service. The company arrived to quote and, at our request a week later, returned to replace a water heater, a water shutoff valve, and a toilet wax ring. There was an initial $ 45 trip fee for the quote, but this fee was explained up front on my initial call, and was credited back when they returned to perform the decided repairs.

Description of Work: We were on vacation in a family members home in Myrtle Beach. The master bathroom toilet felt loose and the sink drain was dripping. Fogarty plumbing came out and re-seated the toilet with a new flange and repaired the dripping drain.

Description of Work: We had a water recirculation pump added to our hot water heater to allow us to have immediately warm (if not hot) water in the far reaches of our home. I hated waiting two minutes to get warm/hot water... now its always there. The people of Fogerty and Fogerty could not have been nicer! What a great group of people. They took the time to answer question and were totally responsive and helpful.

Description of Work: Just bought this condo and there was no hot water. Scott arrived promptly to look at the system and, as it turns out, I just did not wait long enough for the water heater to heat the water after I turned on the electical circuit for it. Nonetheless, Scott checked all the water in all the fixtures in the condo and checked the hot water heater elements. I was happy that they were so prompt and that Scott took the time to check everything while he was there.

Description of Work: I had a toilet that ran continously but only a small stream down one side. I had tried adjusting everything possible within the tank to no avail. Fogerty& Forgerty inserted a beveled washer to correct the problem. The original design of the components in the tank were badly designed so the plumber had to be creative to repair the problem. After repairing it, he explained exactly what he had done.

Description of Work: I had what I thought was a bathtub leak in an older condo on a slab.....long story short, it was my upstairs neighbor's water heater that was leaking and additionally I had other leaks in the space between my condo and my neighbor's condo. I called Fogarty's Plumbing because of the positive remarks I had read on Angie's List. Tammy was very helpful, listened to my concerns and scheduled an appointment for the next Monday morning ( I called on a Friday and it was no emergency). Scott came exactly on time and immediately got to work trying to locate the root of my problems. He discovered it was my neighbor's water heater because the drain line was hot to the touch because it was draining out her water as fast as the heater could heat it. The appropriate calls were made to the property management company so Scott went to work on the other items I wanted done while he was there. I had him bring and install a garbage disposal, remove and install a new dishwasher and change a shower head on my bathroom shower. He was most pleasant and courteous and I enjoyed talking him while he did his work. He also put a new interior on/off valve for the water to my unit . He stayed for about 3 hours but the length of time had more to do with what was going on upstairs than anything else. He worked efficiently and cleaned up as he went. I asked him how he liked working for his employer and he had only very good things to say. He likes his job and he is good at it. How refreshing! He said he liked being able to sleep at night because he was not being pushed to do unnecessary things. I was surprised to hear how well he regarded his employer. I am glad I got him. I will ask for him in the future and I will use Fogarty Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs in the future..

Description of Work: We have used Fogerty and Fogerty 3 times in the past year and a half. I'm not certain of the service dates and only estimated the last time we used them. They have installed a new disposal system in the kitchen, new faucet at an upstairs sink and the most recent experience was toilet repair. The company owner came out on an emergency call to repair a clogged toilet ON A SUNDAY MORNING!! We were overwhelmed by the promptness in response! We will use Fogerty again and are delighted with their A+ service every time we've had a need for plumbing work. They are dependable, fair and the most honest plumbers we've ever used. We are delighted to give them an excellent report!

Description of Work: Just moved to MB. Needed a plumber for ceiling leak. Found Fogarty&Fogarty at Angies List--my favorite resource. Rob Fogarty showed up exactly on time, had shoe covers on his feet so as not to scratch my floor (!), and proceeded to do everything imaginable to find the cause of our leak. He determined that it was a leaking toilet, moved the toilet, replaced a piece, and just for good measure, caulked around the tub "just in case". He worked quickly, efficiently and was extremely professional. I would certainly use this company again, and will recommend it to anyone needing a top notch plumbing company.
