Description of Work: Started work after $1000.00 depo. Recived another $1000.00 a week later. Used carpenters to do Dry wall. Who claimed that was not something they do. Used Painters to mud dry wall, said they also did not do that. The dry wall looks terrible! Ordered flooring that never showed up. Had to bring in other contractor in to finish work, because never heard from the guy again. Every time I asked this guy why work was not being done faster, he would say that he had other jobs to do. I understand that people are busy, but a job that he said would take 2 to 3 weeks, took over 2 months , and was never finished.

+ 1 moreHe is very good and very nice. The family is nice and they have helped me in different ways. He does good work. I'm glad I have him. He is really honest. He doesn't charge every time he comes. Whatever he and his crew do, they do well. His prices are fair but I haven't compared them He is not punctual. He will say he is coming but I don't know when.
Description of Work: I use Custom Designs for odds and ends around the house. He was last here to fix my ceiling fan. They put on a new roof previously.

Description of Work: He did some little things for me. When the door didn't work, he came and fixed it for me.

+ 0 moreRick Hanson is just a great guy. The work that he does is excellent. We have hired him several times and have become friends over that time. He has a lot of knowledge and does great work. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: We have hired him several different times. He has remodeled our entire kitchen, laid new carpet throughout the entire house, widened the doorway in the bathroom, removed wallpaper in the bathroom and repainted it. He has replaced the sliding glass door. He has replaced the flooring in the kitchen and bathroom, too. He added a hand rail to the steps.
