Very Well - installers were professional and shop had a full size sample tp look before ordering flooring.

Showed up on time both occasions. Very professional. I had new closet shelves installed the day after the carpet was laid. The shelf installers hit a water line and flooded out the bedroom closet. Costal worked with us and the closet installer to repair the damage.

Came when scheduled with correct materials. Were very personable, competent, skillful, efficient. Cleaned up after the job was concluded in each area before leaving checked with us with any questions. Replaced all furniture in place when rugs were secured.

I went to Coastal Floor Shop to get a second quote on carpet and laminate. The first company I had gone to seemed high and the lady I was dealing with was always so busy. I checked Angie's for alternatives and found Coastal. The owners Tanya and Mark were so attentive and helpful. They did not carry the original carpet I wanted but called the company and got it for me! Talk about service! And their pricing was better! They were never too busy to help me pick out the right flooring and not pushy sales people. Installed with no problems and it looks beautiful. I would highly recommend you give them a try. I live in Carolina Forest yet have found the best contractors so far in Surfside Beach!

All details as described were completed in a timely manner, and with satisfaction. I would not hesitate using these professionals in the future. This is a very fine family run shop. They went above & beyond even before we selected our flooring to assist us with choosing the proper material.

By far this company was heads above the other companies I got estimates from. The owners,Tanya and Mark, were wonderful.

We had decided to replace the aging tile and carpet in our three beachfront condos. After interviewing several contractors we decided to go with Coastal Floor shop. Besides offering a competitive price, one of the main reasons we hired Coastal Floor was the friendly interaction we had with Mark Hall. He was patient with our questions (of which there were many) and offered several suggestions for tile, laminate, and carpet options. The work started on-time, but progressed slowly as the old tile was firmly bonded to the concrete floor. Mark's crew stayed at it and managed to get the floor prepped appropriately. Once the removal was finished, the tile installer did a very nice job laying our tile on a diagonal and keeping the grout lines as small as possible, per our request. In hindsight, we probably should have separated the three jobs by a few weeks. I think the difficult tile removal was stressful on the tile installers. By the third condo, I think they were a little burnt out. However, even the installation on the last condo met with our approval, so the quality never suffered. While there were minor issues with the tile work (none worth mentioning here), Mark was responsive to my comments and worked with the installers to get the issues corrected. Regarding the carpet installation, another installer that works with Coastal Floor handled all of that work. They moved all the furniture out of the way and did a great job with the installation. No issues at all there. It's easy to rate a business well when there are no issues, but in my opinion, the true character of a business becomes evident when things go wrong. When those small issues arose, Coastal Floor did not disappoint us at all. While we may not need flooring for several years, I would certainly give my business to Coastal Floor when the need eventually arises.

They spent as much time as we needed. They were considerate of our budget and made suggestions for products that would fit our needs. Their service was very professional and they are nice people. When we came to pick up the carpet, we saw at once that it would not fit into the SUV so one of the fellows from the store put it in his own truck and delivered it to our home. We would't even accept gas money. These are nice people to work with.

We searched for hardwood flooring for many months. We were doing a large area in our home (about 10 separate spaces/ rooms). I wanted a sample of a specific flooring to match to my kitchen cabinets and checked several of the larger shops but could not find it anywhere locally. Tanya at Coastal Floor Shop went above and beyond. She could not get a sample from the manufacturer so she ordered a whole box of the hardwood so that I could see it! In the end I didn't even buy that particular wood, but I was sold on Tanya and Coastal Floor Shop. In checking prices on line, I was quoted a price by a shop in Georgia that was lower than Coastal. Tanya met the price of the Georgia shop. We did pay a little more when SC sales tax was added , but it was worth it to deal with a local shop. Our floors are beautiful and I cannot say enough about Coastal Floor Shop and Tanya. I cannot comment on Coastal's installation . We used our own trusted contractor who had done other work for us.

We had a great experience with them. They were wonderful. They did exactly what we wanted and they came when they said that they would. They did a great job and their price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

It was great. You are not allowing me to put various in the service date and I have used this company a number of times I would use them again when I decide to do more work around the house.

It was so smooth. They told me they would be here for up to 4 hours or so. I have just moved to SC from MA and this company was recommended by new friends. I was blown away with all aspects of this job. They also sent two men in later to stretch my carpet in the bedroom. Those two were done in an hour and it's perfect. One guy said that he would not work for anyone else in the area. This is a family business...2nd generation and they were all they said they would be. Clean, neat, professional, courteous, warm and friendly. They also laughed at my jokes! The room looks awesome. A brother and sister now run the business and every call I made was answered quickly and politely. Use this company......I am a perfectionist and will use them again down the road! I trust them!
