Carolina Cool did a fantastic job installing our new Trane heat pump and air handler unit. Jeff and Michael were the installers and I couldn't be more pleased with there professionalism and courtesy. Jeff, the team lead, communicated exactly what they were doing, explained how they would be proceeding and asked me if I had any questions or concerns. Both installers stayed on task and finished in a timely manner. I should also mention Tim, the sales representative who came to my house and provided me with several options and proposals for me to choose from. He was prompt, knowledgeable and thorough explaining every aspect of the job. I would recommend Carolina Cool to anyone needing HVAC services!!

very bad experience. I called Carolina cool to clear a main line blockage from my home to the sewer. The representative came to my home on memorial day, spent a couple of hours, claimed their was a blockage he could not clear with a snake, stated "it feels like I am hitting cement". He wanted to bring in a jet machine or possibly dig up my front lawn. He even laid on my front lawn trying to hear the line snake under the lawn. I decided to not take his advice and call another vendor. The other vendor came in and inserted the line snake by hand for the first 35 feet, connected his machine, and immediately cleared the blockage. It took him less than 10 min once he started inserting the snake.

The only reason I have remained with Carolina cool is because Brandon has serviced us for quite awhile now. He is truly a cut above all the others who work there.. He is very reputable. I wish I could say the same for some of their supervisors. Brandon is not only polite and respectful he truly does his job properly and doesn't look to add expenses to his service to us. I think Brandon is a great example for this company... they should have more like him. I will only have Brandon do work for us. Keep up the good work Brandon. The girls in your office are very special also. Always polite.

It took 3 separate days and 3 different plumbers to install it correctly. 1st try installed it wrong, second try it leaked 3 try finally got it right.

After a month of dealing with a home warranty company and another local vendor with no results, your team stepped up and resolved the issue in 36 hours. Marion , Joseph and Philip were professional and friendly. Explained everything they were doing and why. Marion even went so far as to get us a couple of window units to get us through until the repairs were done when he saw it was 84 degrees inside the house. Great customer service. We recently had Carolina Cool install a new HVAC system and we were so impressed with how professional, knowledgeable and thorough they were. We wanted the Unit in our Attic moved to a location that made it easier to work on and we also wanted the Unit outside moved from the side of our house to out back. Geoff, the salesman came several times for measurements, etc. and brought a contractor with him to verify what could be done with the job. He also came back with the two guys that were installing the units and the Electrician to make sure that all were informed of exactly where the units were to be moved to. The two men that installed our Unit, Steve and Ivan, were wonderful. Steve was the senior installer and the amount of knowledge that he had was so impressive.... and so nice to see. He worked meticulously to ensure that everything was hooked up correctly, checked all the existing duct work, added a new/additional return at the other end of the house, labeled everything.... so detailed and efficient. Both were men were so professional and knowledge and so polite! We had used another company for the past 9 years and were constantly disappointed. We will now be using Carolina Cool for everything. We also found out that they do plumbing and electrical work too.

No solution achieved had to call grand strand water and sewer for soution

I just moved in this condo and tried to sync my thermostat to my phone. I hit the wrong button and now it blows hot air when AC is on. I called to have someone walk me thru to correct the problem and they want to send a tech for 80.00!! All about the $$$. For someone to say you just hit the wrong button let me tell you over the phone how to fix it, nope, they want 80 bucks! With all this covid, I'll buy a new one and have my friend put it on. Pathetic!!

work seems ok but Iam annoyed being charged "limited access fpr being on the second floor. I have had this apartment since 1993 had several vendors do work there and have never been charged this way. Even here on Long Island there is no such charge.Iam 700 miles away and have not seen the results as yet

The system stopped working less than 24 hours after the repair, but someone came out to fix it over the weekend at no additional charge. Happy that we have cool air again during the heat wave!

I would recommend this company and I would defiantly use them again if needed. The company sent Oscar to look at my HVAC and Harley (and Dawson) for my Water Heater. I will request them to come back if I need any other repairs done. They were on time, friendly, professional and did a great job fixing both of my issues quickly.

County inspector was just here yesterday and everything passed inspection. Carolina Cool has been servicing us for 6 years. They are professional, show us when they say, and don’t leave a mess. We are happy with them.

We have a service contract with Carolina Cool for our condo. When we had a few warm days a few weeks ago, we turned on the air and it didn't cool. I called Carolina Cool first thing in the morning; by 10 a.m. the service tech was checking out our unit. Unfortunately, our 25 year old unit was not worth the cost to repair. We asked to have an estimate for a new unit from Carolina Cool. By 3:15 the same day, we had a very professional sales rep come and give us the estimate. Richard did a great job checking the unit inside and out measuring, checking the power, etc. We were very impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism, that we placed the order. We were contacted all along the process with updates as to the status of the unit we needed. An appointment was set up for the date it was expected as well as a second appointment for the next day in case there was a delivery issue. The unit was installed on the original date at the time that was promised. The two services techs were also very professional and made sure we understood the unit operation before they left. We were contacted again after the installation to make sure we were satisfied or had any further questions. A couple people made a remark that Carolina Cool's prices were higher than some others. Our estimate was just about spot on of what we thought we would pay for a new unit! Even if we would have saved a few dollars, the service was excellent and that's worth a few extra dollars, if that's the case!

They're response time was phenomenal. They had one of their members out in two hours. The technician was wonderful, he wouldn't leave until we tried it and found some stuff to dispose of. They are just superb I cannot recommend them highly enough.

They did a good job. I thought they might be a little bit high on pricing. They were quick to respond and they were professional. At least they showed up when they said they would.

I am extremely satisfied with them. They were there when I had an emergency. They were there that day at my mothers house and she cannot take the heat. They understood that and were there right away. their prices were very good. I am extremely pleased with them. I have a yearly contact so they come every 6 months. They were there right away and took care of the problem. My mother was comfortable the rest of the day. We were going through a hot spell. They took care of it right away. It was almost like they dropped everything and came over. They were professional on the phone and in person, their repair people all of them.

Don't use these guys. I rebuilt my home, selected the best of the three options presented. They were unprofessional during the install, the installer went nose to nose with my 70 year old father who was onsite at the time... $16,000 later, the unit can't keep up. I have an 1800 sq ft home with vaulted ceilings. They installed a 2 ton Carrier unit and full new duct work. Turns out it should have been a 3 ton unit. I have heard this from two other A/C companies. My bedroom is a good 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house which, on a hot day, is up to 8-10 degrees over the 72 set point. Sorry, but they do not know what they are doing. I am very disappointed and considering legal action. They don't care, they won't call you back. Once they get paid, they are gone. But they are happy to pressure you to sign an over priced service contract. RUN AWAY

Perfect. Arrived o time, system works great.

Technician came over could not find problem but put in 5 lbs. of coolant and charged me a service charge. Unit never started to cool. Same tech came back put more coolant into a system that he new was leaking but did not no where. Charged me again for coolant but still didnt know how to fix the unit. Cost over $600.00 for coolant and no cool air. Then he told me it would be about 5700.00 to 8000.00 for a new unit. Called another company and for 4000.00 had a new unit installed in 1 day with 10 year warranty. Carolina cool should have know system was 15 years old and not worth replacing. Don't use them.
