They are amazing. The house that we bought has a lot of windows in it so each room was a completely different temperature; one side of the house wasn’t being cooled at all. They came in and did something completely different than anyone else. They balanced the system and now it is cool in summer and warm in the winter. It is perfect. They did what they said, they called to let us know when they were coming, they checked on it afterwards to make sure it was okay, and they were just right there every minute. They put something in the duct work that directs how much air goes to certain rooms. They also put in some more ducts and added an air return.

Mike was very quick in finishing the job. Also, very knowledgable and answered all my questions. He also showed me how to light my gas fireplace since I never had one and didn't have a clue. I wouldn't hesitate to call Carolina Cool again for any service.

They are very professional. They do thorough work. They are inexpensive. They do quality work. They have an annual plan you can sign up for preventive measures; it makes all the sense in the world with their heating and cooling. I would recommend their annual maintenance plan. My overall experience with them was excellent. It is great. Everything about them is the best. Their price is excellent. I checked with other plumbing companies for pricing, and they were least expensive and the most professional. I would use them in the future.

The call desk was very customer service oriented on initial contact. The service person was dispatched at the time of my choosing - that day. The serviceman himself was very knowledgeable, and informative, answering all my questions and providing me with very helpful information. All work was completed in a quick and efficient manner and I felt all charges were very reasonable.

The heat pump continually runs causing a high electric bill. We just moved into this house in October. We called a heating and air guy out, he checked the system and could not find anything wrong. The next day, a plumber from Carolina Cool was at our next door neighbors house. My wife went out and talked to him, he said there was possibly one of three things wrong. He convinced my wife to call for a service appointment. When the Carolina Cool service tech diagnosed the system he found the thermostat was faulty. He replaced it and the heat seems to be doing much better now.

They seem to do the work well. They were here when they said they would be here. They seem to work efficiently. They answered my questions intelligently and when I indicated I had a problem they analyzed the problem for me and let me know what would be required to fix it. I thought they were very decent people to work with. I had two technicians and spent a total of 2-3 man hours here. I expect them to come back in 6 months to do the same thing. They replaced all the batteries in the smoke alarms, a part in the toilets and it's all a part of the service.

I was very satisfied. The workmanship was very good. I was very pleased.

The hot water heater in my home was still under warranty. The parts he replaced were covered. I paid him for a Saturday call and labor charges, which I did not feel were unreasonable. When you've been without hot water for two days, a person is just glad to have hot water again. I went online looking for who repairs my particular hot water heater and found Carolina Cool. I was very pleased and would definitely use them again.

Sales person comes to house it's almost like a car salesman in your home. I'm sure they driven by sales commission.

this motor was replaced by them in april 2007. i asked about a warrenty and was told it was covered but i would have to pay for the service call. when the work was complete i was given a bill for $265 for a new motor and service call. they said they were mistaken and motor was covered for only a one year warrenty. they originally installed a poor quality motor, then would not stand behind there work. will never use this company again

While they may be voted "Best in the Beach" for several years, you need to be very careful. I have been using them for 3 years and while they started out doing a great job the last years, their service is falling way down. When you have your plumbing inspected, they send service individuals out who seem to want to talk more than they want to work. The plumbing department always wants to sell you something. For instance, I moved into a new home that was under the builder's warranty. The first inspection they told me that I need to replace all lines under all the sinks, when I asked why they told me that it would not last and would break and cause a leak. Did not have it done and have never had a problem. You may ask why I continued to use them, but each season they swore it was just a fluke. Since I never had problems and did get a service individual that was great, he left the company and it went downhill after that. The last time I had my A/C and Heating inspected, they sent a service individual out who could not even understand the thermostat. Yes, that is correct. I mentioned to him that I found it hard to believe that he was going to service my system when he did not even know how to turn it on and off. Remember Carolina Cooling installed the programmable controls, which clearly has their name on it, yet the tech did not know how to operate it. Makes you wonder what they were going to do once they went into the attic to check the air exchange. Being a single woman, I relied on them so that I would not have problems in the future. Be very careful about what they put in writing in their service agreement as they will change what the agreement covers when you are in the middle of a contract.
