Brady'S Blinds

Mr. Brady seemed very nice. He came highly recommended by our realtor and he claimed to be in the business of full service blinds and window treatments, as well as remodeling, for 20 years. As a matter of fact, here is a direct quote from his website: "We believe our years of experience within this industry will help us answer all of your questions and take care of all your needs. We pride ourselves on quality and customer service." Mr. Brady came to our home, measured the windows and ordered the blinds. We left the selection of brand blinds at his discretion, our only stipulation being, white and 2 inch. We left a key with Mr. Brady so he could come and install the blinds while we were away. Shortly after installation, I noticed that the blinds were sagging, warped and hung crookedly. The matter has only gotten worse with time and gravity. Last month I called Mr. Brady (March 15th) about the blinds. First of all, he claimed not to remember us, then he said, "Because of the bad economy, I had to close my blind business and go into another business and I just don't know what I can do for you." I said to him that the blinds were less than one year old and he ordered and installed them. Then he said that they may have come from a company he used to deal with that has since closed!!! He said he would call me back and come take a look at the blinds but he really didn't know if he could help me. That is the last I have heard from Mr. Brady. My only recourse at this point is small claims' court. Mr. Brady lies. Do NOT use this man or his company for ANYTHING. He will NOT stand behind his work.
