AHG Professional Painting

It was a big job and his team showed up on time and ready to work. They prepped the surfaces, mitigated that rusting on the iron door and painted it all. They are true professionals. I will use them again for sure!

Excellent Quality at a reasonable price. Quoted job for 2 coats but later said it was for only one coat. When reminded, agreed to original quote. Request for information on another job has not been answered.

Simon contacted me to schedule a redo of our master bathroom paint job. Johnny arrived as scheduled, sanded, primed and repainted the entire bathroom at no additional charge to us. As of 24 hours later, this room looks 1000 times better. :) AHG's immediate response to my original posting shows the pride they really take in their work. In all fairness, had I contacted Simon after the initial "fix" failed, I now know he would have rectified the situation then and there. That's on me. It is clear that AHG take their professional reputation and customer satisfaction very seriously. I would not hesitate recommending them to others and I would certainly use them again. Simon was very nice. Most of the painting throughout the house was fine. The Master Bath had a dark color satin finish paint on the walls. As we were now changing to a cream color flat, I thought it would be necessary to use KILZ over the existing paint before repainting. The paint crew said not to worry about it, they knew what they were doing. Initially everything looked fine. Over the next few months we started noticing a crackling/laddering in the bathroom wall paint. I called Simon and he came right over. After seeing the issue, he said he'd send someone back to sand the walls and repaint. One person came, sanded only around shower stall ceiling and the stall top, and repainted. I had showed him the flat paint to use. When he was done, he said I showed him the wrong paint and he used a satin finish paint instead. Firstly, I thought he'd be sanding and repainting the entire bathroom-not just the area around the shower stall. Secondly, by using the satin finish instead of the flat, there is now a discernable shiny stripe around the ceiling and shower stall. I was correct when I told him to use the flat paint. Simon never followed up to see if I was satisfied with the fix. I never reached out to him, either. As of today, about a year later, most of the master bath walls are crackling again. I decided it would be easier to just sand the walls myself and repaint them. I plan to do that this autumn (when the weather is a little cooler). I liked Simon very much, but didn't feel the follow up work was satisfactory. I avoided writing a review because I haven't reached out to him to give him the opportunity to correct it again. At this point, I'd just as soon do it myself.

AHG did an awesome job. They were on time and very professional. They cleaned up each night. Removing popcorn ceilings is a very messy job and the crew kept everything as clean as they possibly could. We would hire again if the need arises again.

Exceptional painting especially that one room was a very dark color. They were clean, fast and very accurate cutting in. Am extremely pleased with the entire job. They did several rooms and were out of here in 5 hours after 2 coats of high-quality paint.

3 painters with High skill levels. Punctual. Responsive to any concerns and needs I had. Job took a week. No evidence of drips or splash. Either perfect painters or promptly cleaned any messes. Only error was that they painted the windows closed. Promptly came out and freed them and applied touch up paint as needed. Was Very happy. Very professional presentation when giving pre-work estimate. Payment required was 1/2 prior to work. 1/2 upon satisfactory completion.

AHG did everything I expected and at a quality level of excellent.

From our first visit with Simon up to finished job, everything went smoothly. Fair price, neat, professional and courteous painters...we would 100% use AHG painting again. Overall great rating.

They painted my bathroom first then we had them come back and paint the inside and outside of our front door and windows. They did a beautiful job!!

Simon and his crew performed in a very professional manner. Work was completed in a timely manner, which was important as another major project was scheduled closely following Simon's work. Clean up each work day, and on the day of completion was excellent. We intend to hire him for follow-on projects.

I haven't done the work yet but will consider this firm when I get ready to accomplish it. I had submitted a review of AHG but I had it confused with another company. AHG was prompt in providing an estimate And provided a competitive quote for this work. I will contact them when I am ready to do the work.

Painted the main house bedroom, and a large carriage house bedroom and bathroom.

The sales rep, Simon, was always very polite and professional. The workers arrived on time, worked hard, and cleaned up at the end of each night. They did the job fast, and to a satisfactory level. As with all things, you get what you pay for, for the price I paid, I am very satisfied, if I had paid more, I would be unsatisfied. My only issue was that they sprayed, everything, with a heavy coat of paint, to prevent having to paint multiple coats (cuts labor cost). This led to drips and paint runs. Not really a big deal, but when you get up close to certain places, you can see it. Overall, if you're looking for 100% perfection I wouldn't recommend AHG. If 95% makes you happy, like it did me, then you can't beat their price and service and I'd highly recommend AHG.

We've used AHG several times in the past and have been extremely happy with the services performed. They have painted the entire exterior of our house along with repairs needed. Also they have done some interior painting and repair work. Would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

We had previously had the above work done a few years ago, and the person who did it, did a terrible job. The stain began to peel less than a year after the work was done. Everything the prior painter did had to be stripped off and sanded before new stain could be applied. It turned out to be a much tougher job than was initially thought and took much longer than was anticipated. Simon had his crew do what was necessary to make sure the job was done correctly.

Power washed the house on a Friday and on Monday started to paint the house. Went around the house twice to put on 2 coats of light gray paint. Then proceeded to put 2 coats of white paint on the trim. Workers were very responsive and professional. Quality of work was excellent. Highly recommend!

Initially I thought they did a good job but upon further inspection they improperly filled several holes in the walls which were promised to be filled - but are still clearly visible through the new paint, they damaged one of our closet doors, and are incapable of painting a straight line where some edging needed to be done, they are not punctual - they called at 9AM to say they were on their way and did not show up until after 11 AM and between the constant breaks for caffeine free diet mountain dew or for a cigarette and the frequent trips to the bathrooms its amazing they get any work done. As far as scheduling the job we were delayed several times as we were told they would be coming and then would cancel the night before, they obviously don't care about smaller jobs, we have had them back 3 times already to fix the areas that were incorrect and damaged and they have yet to correct it properly - overall don't bother - find another painting company and save yourself a lot of trouble

The AHG guys went to the property with a key I provided them and did their work and left. When I went by they had cleaned up after themselves and left it better than they found it. The lines were crisp and the job was done like a professional and not like some guy in a truck. The pricing was very fair for what was done, especially for the quality I received. This is a solid and trustworthy company who I would use again!

They did a very good job and their pricing was reasonable with what I was getting from everybody else. Their price was like $13,000 to $15,000. They were very professional and they gave me a good estimate. My interactions with them have been good. As a matter fact, I worked shifts and I was here while they were doing it. They found some wood that was bad and they replaced it and they also caulked up some places that needed to be done. They were here when they said that they were going to be and they got the job done when they said that they were going to. I am planning on using them again.

It was very good. They're very good to work with, timely and they're clean and neat.
