+ -1 moreADT will not even tell me what changes were made to my property. They are not able to correct the situation.
Description of Work: I own a home that is rented out longer term. A new tenet moved in in February. ADT allowed the tenet to cancel my account and create they own account without notifying me or getting my position.

+ -1 moreAlarm went off. I called the service. The woman who helped me was wonderful. It took us about 45 minutes to disconnect and reconnect because the box requires two screwdrivers, one in each hand to open it. to depress the notches in it Then we discovered that not only is the motion detector not working, but there is no signal between my house and them. So if someone breaks in, no one would know. Test it monthly. That's what I should have done. I wonder if the motion detector ever worked. Also get the extra insurance on the system. Find out where the transformer is placed, and have screwdrivers handy in case you need to take things apart. The only available service time for them was tomorrow, but I have meetings. The next time they could come to fix the system--which I am paying for but not getting--is eleven days from now. (I am home nearly all the time) I fumed about paying for a service I'm not getting and was connected to someone then connected to another person who said, that they'd make the determination about billing after it was fixed. Convenient for them. I pay the bill while not receiving the services. They offered to connect me to someone else, and I said "no." An hour on the phone was enough. . The moral of this story is that ADT needs more technicians. Eleven days before something gets fixed is not acceptable. Usually, their equipment is good. Their billing department also needs to work on the meaning of customer satisfaction.
Description of Work: Alarm went off. I called them. A representative walked me through disconnecting and connecting the system to restart it. This took a long time, but the woman on the phone was patient and kind and courteous.
