Accents Mirror & Glass Design

After a recent relocation, the movers misplaced the glass doors from an old bookcase that my father had bought my mother many years ago. After calling many glass companies in Myrtle Beach, Accent ACTUALLY called back, made the appointment, came to my home and measured, and promptly made the replacement pieces at a very affordable cost. They were very professional throughout the process, even though it was a relatively small job for them!

They did a great job! Called several places around Myrtle Beach as this was last minute. They were able to have the glass ready by the next day, told me up front when to pick it, and the cost. Delivered a high quality product on time. I will absolutely use them again!

The measuring crew came at the end of April to determine what we needed repaired. Once we decided to go with the estimate I was told that it would take about 7 to 10 days to get the windows. They would call me. I paid half of the total bill with a credit card. At the end of May, when I hadn't heard from Accent, I called to see what was holding things up. At that time I was told that because of the Memorial Day holiday things were backed up. They felt that the windows would be in soon. They would call me when the windows were ready. On June 15, 2015 after going TWO more weeks without hearing from the people at Accent, I called again. That is when I was told the windows were ready and that we could finally scheduled the installation. This was done on June 18, 2015. Barney, one of their installers, came that day and did a thorough job. Because we had used Accent Mirror and Glass for a replacement patio door panel in 2008 and had been pleased with how promptly it was dealt with, I called them this time, I did not look on Angie's List to even see if they were members. I did this after I had paid for half the bill and ordered the windows. When I did check I saw that according to their listing they offer a SENIOR DISCOUNT. Since the work was being done at my 87 year old mother's house, I e-mailed Accent to see how this would be accommodated. I was told in response that all orders are given the business discount. This is NOT shown anywhere on the bill. Given how long it took, and the fact that I had to do the checking to see what the holdup was, needless to say I have a poor opinion of Accent Mirror and Glass Designs. I almost feel that because my order was so small it was okay to make me wait. We will go back to Conway Glass the next time we need a window repaired or replaced.

They first came about a week and a half ago to measure the door. They were prompt and here for only a few minutes to measure. Two men came today with the new glass. They took the door out, took it apart and replaced the glass. They cleaned the glass and put the door back in place. They made sure the glass was clean before they left. They were prompt and professional.
